Went to Farmers in Forsyth and had an exceptional customer experience. I was assisted by a trustworthy seasonal sales associate named Carolyn Fields. I was able to tell her exactly what I wanted and she navigated through the store to help me find it. The selection was absolutely top tier. Not only did the 5 piece living room set fit within my budget but I was able to get financed in the matter of minutes. I am happy I drove from Macon to go here. It was worth the drive. I am excited for my new home to have the feel I wanted at the low price I received. I would recommend you go see Mrs. Carolyn Fields. Her energy is contagious and authentic, it’s who she is to the core. She allowed me to do my due diligence on the floor and every I minute spent weighing my options, she was admirably patient and I never once felt like an inconvenience. She is attentive and a great listener. Once I even got off track and started looking at furniture that I truly didn’t come in there for and she reminded me of the original idea I had for my home, and that spoke volumes to me. I entered this establishment on 3/21/19 only to be treated poorly by the one individual that works there. An elderly lady who appeared to be wearing a brown wig. I am an avid furniture collector and went into this store hoping to find a few furniture pieces that may interest me. Upon entering the store she immediately asked me if she could help me with something. I candidly replied that I was browsing, but thank you. After a few minutes of reviewing the inventory I asked her for her restroom. She told me they had no public restroom. I found this strange because every business in Ga is required to have access to a public restroom. As I moved around the store I found what appeared to be public restrooms. I asked her aren't these restrooms public. She told me they were for customers only. Mind you this is a furniture store not a candy store. So are people supposed to come through the door and immediately by a couple of nightstands before using the restrooms? Her behavior was disgraceful and I suspect it was potentially racially motivated. I plan on contacting corporate and escalating...
