Flagler Village CrossFit — Local services in Fort Lauderdale

I have been going to FVCF for over one year, and I must say that there is no place like it.

First impressions: The box is just so charming. It has an uplifting atmosphere created by the lovely greenery (eg, lots of plants and vines that drape about) and a fun, colorful mural that makes the place vibey. I think it is the nicest fitness center in Flagler Village!

Secondly, the workouts are incredible. Every WOD is intense, challenging, and daunting at times, but you always walk out feeling so empowered. Staying consistent will absolutely guarantee results in form, body composition, physical, and mental strength.

Additionally, the coaches are all top-notch. Each one is dedicated, caring, knowledgeable, and informative. They are mindful about form and doing things properly to maximize your workout and prevent injury.

What's most special is the community. When non-Xfitters think of CrossFit, they think of athletes and workouts that are not meant for mere mortals. That is a misconception. The community includes people of all different levels of fitness. Further, most people here are incredibly supportive/positive, and the collective mindset is inspiring, encouraging, and motivating.

If you are thinking about giving it a go, trust me, you will not be disappointed!

P.S. Did I mention FVCF is an unofficial dog rescue center?...

Joined Flagler Village CrossFit about 2 years ago, never having done CrossFit before. It was incredibly intimidating at first – but all the coaches were, and continue to be, such a great group of supportive and knowledgeable people. They will encourage you to improve your strengths and excel, while also offering support and personalized tips/tricks on how to overcome your skill weaknesses. They are passionate about your growth and really are there celebrating all your achievements right there with you!

Casey has done a wonderful job of creating a welcoming community at this gym, you can feel it as soon as you walk in the door. The members and coaches have become more than people you just see when you work out. They are your lifelong friends, your cheering squad, and your workout buddies. This gym has really felt like family, and coming here is easily the best part of the day. I truly could not ask for a better fit!

I joined Flagler Village CrossFit when I moved down to Ft. Lauderdale almost a year ago. I was excited this gym offered both CrossFit and “Tone Fit” programming, which was similar to the modified version I started my CrossFit journey with! I love the inclusivity of all fitness & skill levels and even the most competitive members don’t come with the egos I’ve experienced at some CrossFit gyms.

Casey, the owner, and the other coaches have been so helpful recognizing my strengths/weaknesses and what cues will make sense to me. Casey also does a great job creating a community with a welcoming space & organizing fun social events outside of the gym.

I came to FTL without knowing a single person and have built friendships with many of the other members (& doggies)...
