Scan Design — Local services in Fort Lauderdale

We had been searching for the perfect sofa bed for a while—something modern, well-made, and large enough to accommodate a Queen-sized bed, but without the modular design. After a long Saturday of browsing, we decided to visit Scan Design, and it turned out to be the best decision we made.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by Gregorio and another designer, both of whom were incredibly attentive and insightful. They really understood our vision and introduced us to the Abra sofa bed in dark gray. It's not only beautiful but also fits perfectly in our space.

The service was exceptional. We were offered coffee and water, and their professional advice went above and beyond what we expected. When the sofa was delivered, everything was seamless—the team was professional, and Gregorio even stopped by to make sure everything was perfect. He also gave us amazing design tips to help enhance our apartment with the pieces we already had.

We are beyond pleased with both the product and the outstanding service. I highly recommend Scan Design and would give them five stars for the entire experience. Definitely check them out on Fort Lauderdale on Federal Highway!

2025 update. 2 years into ownership of this $4500. bedroom suite, the headboard eco leather is totally breaking down. The condo is only used by my husband and I (no pets or children) for a total of 30 days a year. The bedroom blinds are kept closed and AC is on continuously. When I contacted San Design they refused to make arrangements for repair saying it was beyond the warranty period, despite a big delay in taking ownership (see earlier post). Also, it was a "store sample, so this is as is". The bed was NOT the store sample, it was ordered when the original was damaged during delivery. Very unhappy with the level of customer service as well as the quality of furniture. This is not a discount furniture store so I expect a higher level of quality and...

Scan Design has come to Fort Lauderdale with their new store. If you like Scandinavian design you will love this store.

It is too bad that they can't display all they offer over the 2 floors of furnishings displayed. The prices are reasonable but don't wait around for a sale. The design consultants will say that Scan Design rarely has sales and when they do it is either floor samples or a design that is going to be discontinued.
