My experience at Aurora Spa recently has been worse than at the beginning. I say at the beginning because I've been going to frequent massage appointments for at least four years, every two weeks, or at least once a month. When I googled the place, I read the reviews and decided to make an appointment with Hank, who had very good reviews. On my first appointment, I realized why Hank has such good reviews. He's an excellent massage therapist. I liked him, and from then on, I've always made appointments with him. I'm one of those people who, if I like someone, stick with them. Why would I change? Since day one, I always found it very uncomfortable when the woman at the front desk asked me for more tips than usual. I like to give a minimum of 20%. I'm willing to give up to 25% if I really like the service, but she asks me to give her $30 for my 90-minute massage, which costs $85. That's more than 35%! On some occasions, my body felt so tense and stressed that when I left, relieved, I agreed to pay the extra $30. I took my sister and nephew for a massage a month ago. They also liked it, but my sister told me the same thing happened to her. The woman at the front desk asked for an additional $30 each after they had paid for a 90-minute massage. We thought it was an abuse. Even so, I went back to my appointment with Hank two weeks ago. When I was already ready on the table, waiting for Hank, the woman from the front desk came into the room and told me that Hank was very tired, that he wasn't going to do the massage, but rather someone else, a woman whose name I didn't know. I didn't like what happened, but I was already there, so I accepted and got the massage. I wasn't satisfied. I didn't like the massage, her pressure level wasn't enough and it was a disaster when it came to work. She went from one side of my body to the other, without the correct order, which I'm used to. Yesterday I called to make an appointment with Hank. I went in the afternoon. I asked if she would please also massage my neck and feet. It's a 90-minute full-body massage. Sometimes he does my neck and feet, other times he doesn't even touch my feet or goes very quickly over my neck. So yesterday I made sure to ask him not to forget my feet and neck. When I left the massage, the woman at the front desk told me I had to pay more because the FULL BODY MASSAGE didn't include feet, as if feet weren't part of the body! How ridiculous! She wanted to charge me more and also made it clear that the next time I asked for feet, I'd have to pay separately.
There won't be a next time for me, I told her. I'm no longer willing to tolerate any more abuse. I go there to relax, and I get it, but it doesn't last long. When I leave, I'm already stressed out, unable to understand this undeserved treatment I'm receiving, even though I'm a long-time, frequent client. It's a shame places like this lack professionalism. Now I'll have to find somewhere else. I'm sure there are many other good massage therapists who work with more professional people...

Highly recommend the roller and oil massage by Hank to release my extreme painful lower back. This new method gives instant relief as stroking with oil and roller stimulates the skin in produced heat in the area to release pains. The heat even last 15 minutes after session was over. Must try!! All masseuses are personally trained by Master Jingshi in this SPA. Posted on 2022: I get bi-weekly massage for over 20 years; the two superb masseuse Jingshi and masseur Hank on a two hours massage session. Their skills include calm and relaxing; or focused in deep tissue muscle strain, soreness, circulation of blood flows; stimulating the nervous cupping as well as feet massaging that not many masseuses would have the skill to do. Itโs therapeutic! They are taking time to untangle your muscles to relax your stress and release pains. I encourage you to book a two hours session and you will be hooked. Well worth...

Came here based on reviews and convenience from where I live and super disappointed. Woman giving me massage asks medium or hard strength where I proceed to tell her medium. She proceeds to get on top of me on all fours.
(which was already awkward because I now had to accommodate myself on the bed according to her positioning) and rubs my back hard, continuously throughout I had to remind her medium where she would say โsorry I forget I like harder massages for myself.โ
there came a point where she shoved her elbow in my back again hard where I cringed and actually said ow, she thought it was because of a knot and I tell her no itโs you. She goes on to massage my scalp w oily hands and leaves my hair in a total mess, asks me to turn around without lifting sheet, just a complete and total mess, I could not wait...
