Pbnail &spa — Local services in Fort Lee

No! Just no. Waited 30 mins to be sat. Didn't mind that as we didn't have an appt. But when sat at the pedi spa, 3 people were told I wanted gel mani-pedi. My niece was getting regular mani-pedi. After 15-20 mins of being sat with our feet soaking, someone approached me but apparently didn't do gel so started on my niece instead. I waited a few extra minutes, eventually opting for regular mani-pedi instead. Granted my niece finished before me. When it was time for my mani, realized the lady that did my nieces pedi was working in someone else's hands whilst my niece sat there for nearly an hour! I have never left a nail salon, gone home, and immediately removed and redid my polish. The bubbles, the wrinkles, even lint in my nails. No cuticles were done. It was just a big no for me. I tried this place out as it has a fair star rating but please don't be sold on that! I have the smoothest soles yet they wanted to charge $7 more for callus removal...I have no calluses. $3 more for gel removal. Idk how much more to cut and shape my nails....i didn't even ask for that. Aside from the staff being talentless, customer service was poor, the owners kid was having an off day and the poor child was shoved into the storage room to cry. It was just all off. I try to never write a poor review (you can see my account) but I was bamboozled by the 4 star rating. Can't let this happen to someone else. I only took one pic cuz I was so upset about how they came out that I didn't want to take any more. Do better yall!...

Apparently the owner, Ray made a mistake in scheduling my appointment. I waited 10 minutes and was never acknowledged, greeted or spoken to by either Ray or his wife, Fiona. The manicurist finally informed me of an error and asked if I could "come back later." I left and would never return. The owners are poor business people; instead of apologizing and explaining their error, they chose to ignore the customer of three years. They lack business skills and professional courtesy and their business will suffer...

If you get gel manicures - DO NOT let manicurists use the metal scrapping tool or the electric file on your own mail to remove the polish. Electric files were not made to remove polish. It’s a lazy and very much damaging way to handle it. It will end up thinning out and destroying your nails. I asked for my gel to be soaked off and then hand filed and the manicurist got very upset with me and caused a scene. Terrible customer service. Will not be back.
