Great Wall Chinese — Restaurant in Fort Lupton

My family has ordered from here for pick up and delivery for almost 2 years with no problem. However we won’t be eating here anymore due to their lack of customer service when there is a problem with an order. We ordered delivery on NYE and at the beginning of the call I specifically asked if they were offering delivery on a holiday night, I would have gone and picked it up if they weren’t. I was quoted 45min for it to be delivered. An hour went by and I called back and was informed the driver already left with the order and it shouldn’t take more then a couple min… Keep in mind I live under a mile away. another 30 min later my husband called back and was told it will be there in 5 min. 10 min later we were delivered cold food and the chicken was hard. The “manager” on duty informed us it was basically our fault for ordering delivery on a holiday night.. they didn’t take ownership of it taking an hour longer then they qouted me and it arrived cold and not to their current standards. I refuse to support a business that can’t own their mistakes or value their long...

This place is usually awesome. We have eaten there several times This last Friday was a completely different story. They only had 1 cook and 1 person taking phone orders and serving in the restaurant He was a very nice younger guy. He told me the wait would be about 30 mins to for dine in ,Which i was ok with. well after we ordered and waited 30 mins or more he brings out my wontons. They were luke warm like they had been sitting awhile or not full cooked. Then he comes back a few mins later and informs me that they are out of sesame beef and would i like something else. I said no thank you. so he brings out the rest of my order. After a couple of bits of my rice I find a hair in my food, i let him know this as well and tell him I don't want anything else and am at this point I'm done eating and am ready to leave . Seriously this has got to be some of the best Chinese food I've eaten this side of Denver. Who knew there was such an amazing Asian restaurant in Fort Lupton? Drove up from Commerce City tonight with my partner and didn't know what to expect The restaurant came to me as a suggestion from a friend. When we got there the place was mostly empty but lots of people were coming in to pick up their takeout orders. The pickup traffic was non stop which made me think that my friends positive suggestion was a valid one. We ordered the lettuce wraps as an appetizer and what showed up to the table were four large pieces of iceberg lettuce stuffed to the gills with chicken and veggies. Absolutely amazing, some of the best he's ever had said my partner. I got the cashew chicken which was loaded with more veggies in a unique delicious sauce.
