I will never enter this establishment again due to the unprofessionalism i recieved when i had to express concerns over my daughters nails. We went in & the person who usually does her nails wasnt there. This was not a issue as this has happened before and she was well taken care of. however this time the lady who did her nails did a horrible job. her fingers got cut, burned all around her cutices, then used nail polish remover on top of the burns which hurt like heck. She had black paint used on the tips which werent even & then she asked for a outline of a heart and was told they cant do that. Why?? Then they had the nerve to charge her for the nail art done..what nail art? it wasnt even painted properly. Her fingers were cut up and beat red all around the nails. She gets a new set every month & have never had that happen. When i expressed my concern to the owner i was told "there is nothing wrong, thats how they are supposed to look. i told them she is in pain & the nails look horrible. At that time the lady came over and started to get rude with me & the owner told her not to worry about it she didnt do anything wrong. Then they accused us of complaining because our regular nail tech wasnt there, which i explained to them is not true because we have used others there with no problem. I realize the customer is not always right in the business world, but he wouldnt even listen to my concerns & try to help. Basically if you go there & dont like the way you are treated to bad, pay up. That is their moto. I never once raised my voice or tried to cause a scene, i just wanted them to correct what was done to my daughter, but the fact is they dont really give a crap if you like their services or not. Despicable behavior!! Which is such a shame because the person who usually does her nails is so nice, professional, and could do any design requested. Her fingers werent brutalized, and her nails always looked beautiful! Shame on the owner for not listening to the concerns of a...
Read morei had a horrible experience at Florida Nails.. I went in to get just a polish change on my toe nails.. I wanted a bright pink tip with a white line.. I also wanted my eyebrows waxed. So heres what happened...The female with glasses was definately not friendly what so ever.. I walked in and noone said a word to me so about 15 min after being there i said "long wait" ? she said "no" and then said "what do you want" so i told her and she didnt say a word. I didnt no when it was my turn til about 15 more min she said "come over here" not friendly at all.. There were 3 people working. When i told her what i wanted on my toes she got upset because she wanted my whole toe nails polished..I explained i wanted them just like they were only different color so she started talking to a guy that worked there i believe his name was ken or kem and he asked me what did i want.. I guess theyve never done just colored tipswith a white line...she did a horrible job. my white line was as crooked as could be.. I felt they was upset with me because how i wanted my toes painted.. so then heres another rude situation. it was time for my eyebrows so i said i needed my eyebrows done too and she said "no i will not do your eyebrows" I looked at her and asked why she said i dont want to. I was embarrased and upset. There were other people in there and i was not happy.. so i sat at the dryer to dry my feet and i let them dry 2 times and went toturn it back on for the 3rd time and she yelled at me.. she said "only 2 times" in a really hateful voice. I live in Indiana and most of the time i will let my feet dry 5 or 6 times to make sure they are all the way dry..So it was time to pay ,which i shouldnt have gave her a dime .she charged 15 $ and i really didnt want to tip because the wall said polish change was 8$ but i gave the crabby lady a 2$ tip.. I will never in my life go back to Florida Nails. I visit Florida very often and I will definately go...
Read moreWalked in to get my eyebrows waxed 23-Oct-15 and since everyone was busy, I browsed the nail polishes. After a few minutes of looking at colors, I sat down and took my phone out of my bookbag to check the time then put it away. Then one of the employees asked if I wanted to get my nails done, to which I said No, I was just looking at their colors. Then in front of all of her customers she accuses me of stealing nail polish and putting it in my bag! I said that I didn't and she argued with me that I did! So I held up my bag to her and told her she could go through it if she wanted. Without saying anything she turned around and went back to her client. After another minute the same lady took me into the back room to get my eyebrows done. Lying down I saw a sign that said there is a $13 minimum for cards, and that if you don't reach the minimum that there is a $1 processing fee. Why this sign isn't up at reception I don't know. The woman handed me a mirror after she finished and my brows were SO thin! And they were uneven because she waxed off the beginning part of my eyebrow where the hair grows upward instead of sideways. I highly doubt these people have been trained in the craft, it looks so bad. Then when I went to go pay, they charged me $13 instead of the $10 for the wax plus the $1 processing fee like their sign states! And she never apologized to me for accusing me of stealing! I will NEVER come back to this store, which is a shame, because I work in the plaza and I would have been a regular customer if they actually knew what...
