I had a very positive experience here at FPTC! I am a student, who just started getting exposure to the world of the health and medical field at my college. I have had no prior experience in the health medical field before, but I wanted to begin my journey not only through learning in college but through a job. I decided I wanted to start by being a CNA- this would give me the experience and income I need to advance in my educational career and end-goal career. Thanks to FPTC, I passed my CNA exam, got my first aid, hippa, and cpr certifications and can now begin building my future!
FPTC offered the budget-friendly rates I needed in order to begin. The prices for their courses don't compare to many other organizations I looked at! I chose the complete course options with CNA training and first aid, cpr, and HIPPA certifications.
I recieved very personal, and through, quality training for the CNA courses. CNA classes are in person, 2 students per class, with one certified teacher. The teaching style for the in person CNA course is "monkey-see-monkey-do"; this gets reinforced with the video tutorials of each skill, quizzes, and practice written exams you are left with to do by yourself at home. Ms Marva was an excellent teacher! She went over the skills as many times as needed until each student got it right. She was patient and very informative. You practice in class just as you would perform for the CNA exam. Ms Marva lets you know all of the rules for the working and testing environment, and truly does everything possible in her power to set you up for success.
While there was a set-back in scheduling my classes, FPTC did a wonderful job to quickly and efficiently reschedule my CNA courses. I originally signed up for the week day classes, but due to unexpected events, they had to cancel that week of class. FPTC quickly signed me up for their weekend class the following week, working with me to ensure it still worked with my very packed schedule at the time, at no extra cost.
I would highly recommend coming to FPTC. Make sure you study and do your part to succeed, because you are certainly given all the tools for success at this facility. The staff is wonderful, and very experienced. The CNA classes are definitely great quality, and the online classes are great (take your time with them). I'm glad there is an affordable option that is high quality for...
