Used to be my our favorite stop now we don't plan on going back. We went about a month ago after not having been for a year or so. My wife ordered a half a rack of ribs which she loved, I ordered my go to shrimp and grits only to find out they claimed they changed it to some sort of grit cake with a chunky red tomato sauce with sausage in it, more tomatoes than grits. I sent it back because I thought it was incorrect. She brought it back telling me the cook said that was the shrimp and grits. I honestly think they were gaslighting me because their current online menu picture still shows exactly what I have ordered many times and expected. What anybody would expect when ordering shrimp and grits. I gave it a shot and was extremely disappointed. Then last night we went again. I got my back up go to dish, the black and blue sliders which I have had multiple times and sadly shrinkflation was evident and the quality was lacking. My wife ordered a half rack of ribs and she got three ribs. When pointing it out to the food runner he agreed it was a small portion and said he would get the manager who came and kind of rudely told us that was the normal size but she would bring out another half. The month prior when she got a half rack of ribs and it was actually half a rack. The second half rack of ribs had four ribs. So apparently three ribs plus four ribs equals a whole rack of ribs. I think somebody needs explain basic math to whoever cuts the meat. They're either under New Management and/or deciding to cut corners to save money either way it's obvious whoever's in charge is making poor choices. That being said if you don't expect a bowl of grits with shrimp on it when order shrimp and grits and you don't expect a half a rack of ribs when you order a half a rack of ribs then you will probably enjoy the meal.

Visited for the first time while in town on a trip. Got the Fort Pierce Poboy which was very good. Loaded, a little tough to handle, but in a good way. My complaint would be it looks like they have 30 beers on tap but there's no beer list. I asked the waitress what was on tap and she offered "I'm not sure but I can name a few". She went on to name the same 3 or 4 beers I can already see advertised on a sign hanging up. People I were with who have visited this place many times told me this is typical. So many beers could be a big selling point to any restaurant, would it be so hard to print out a tap list? We ate outside on the deck and the atmosphere was nice and plenty of tvs for football. Had a good time and would return but I'll probably sit at the bar next time. Update 9/6/2025 Fresh off a remodel and no change on the beer. Place had untappd for a very short while a year ago but it was short lived. Today I asked if there was a beer list and I got the same answer I always get "we don't have one anymore". Waitress wouldn't list the beers, made me name a beer style then told me their one option. A couple of beers I asked for are featured on the tap handles, but aren't actually on tap. Food is still good. Disappointed the Mahi reuben is off the menu but that happens. The staff shouldn't act like being asked about the beers is such a hassle. The beers that are on tap are so basic I know they don't rotate often. Just print a list or write them on the chalk board. 18% hospitality charge automatically added to the bill despite the fact that the menu only mentions auto gratuity for parties of 8 or more. Not going to prioritize visiting here anymore

UPDATED 9/6/2025: This place just reopened after a total remodel. So refreshing ! The place itself is clean and bright!! The first week back bright an incredible energy and some delicious new menu items!! I went twice in one week! I went once with my husband and then I returned with my entire family!! Both times we were treated with kindness and respect! When I went with the large group, including kids, not once did we feel rushed or intrusive. Alexis was an amazing server. I also saw the managers, Nick and Gary, make several visits to the guests. The kitchen had a few hiccups ( what new opening doesn’t) and the manager was in there working himself alongside his staff! It is without a doubt total teamwork. Make sure to try the Vero Smash Burger and the Cauliflower bites!!! So good!!! I also tried the cactus chili and oyster Rockefeller and was not disappointed ! They also made an amazing espresso martini. I can’t wait to go back and try my next meal. Bistro has always been a favorite hangout. It’s especially awesome when Nick is at the bar. That young man is a trip and makes the best drinks. He always knows what I want and never disappoints. It has been such a favorite place that I convinced my Red Hatters to meet there for lunch. They served a large group of ladies with various needs in a quick, efficient and tasty manner! When looking for someplace to catch a quick bite and a delicious drink in Fort Pierce you can’t go wrong with Bistro. An added plus is the outdoor and social distancing service.

I reeeallly wanted to love this place. The food is absolutely delicious however the service and the drinks left a lot to be desired. I honestly don’t recall the gentleman’s name that was our immediate server however he messed up my fiancés drink ok fine no big deal, my fiancé asked for the drink he ordered (Arnold Palmer) because he literally hates sweet tea which is what he got. When it was brought back it was clear no real care or thought was put into making it. My Diet Coke had barley and carbonation it was basically flat. The drink drinks (Mojito and a Bahama Mama) were horrible. The Mojito was actually sour in taste and watered down. The Bahama Mama was so sweet it wasn’t drinkable I paid about $13 for a sip the full glass remained when we left. This was super disappointing because the whole reason we went was to have a few drinks and unwind close to home however after that we chose not to order anymore drinks. The rolled in gratuity is such a great idea to prevent people from not tipping however 18% seems high. They do tell you about it upfront but still from our experience there was no effort to earn a tip on our servers part because such a large amounts already guaranteed or at least that’s how it seemed. We had to make requests from the people bringing us our food because he was all over the place and seemed rather distracted. I was a little pissed off when I saw the tip amount when everything was said and done because it didn’t feel like he earned that and I honestly would have tipped him less due to his service.

I tried them again through Uber eats. We paid extra for sauces that were needed for the food being ordered however they were not provided which again comes down to the server preparing it.

All and all it’s a shame that the service doesn’t live up to how great the food is. Seeing some of these other reviews I almost feel like we just had the wrong servers because others have had such a wonderful experience.

Based on ours I would say go for the food...

I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at a restaurant where I was lucky enough to have Jencyn as my waitress. From the moment I walked in, her warm and friendly demeanor instantly made me feel welcome and at ease.

Jencyn's attentiveness and exceptional customer service skills were truly unmatched. She effortlessly anticipated our needs and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Her genuine smile and positive attitude were infectious, creating a delightful atmosphere in the restaurant.

Not only was Jencyn incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and able to make excellent recommendations. She took the time to thoroughly explain each dish, ensuring that we made informed choices that would leave us completely satisfied.

Throughout the evening, Jencyn's attention to detail was impeccable. She continuously checked on us, making sure our glasses were never empty and that our meals arrived promptly and in perfect condition. Her efficiency and professionalism were truly commendable.

What truly set Jencyn apart was her ability to create a personal connection with us. She engaged in genuine conversations, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Her warm and friendly nature made the entire dining experience feel like we were among friends.

I cannot say enough positive things about Jencyn and the exceptional service she provided. She truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable and enjoyable. Her passion for her job was evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting impression that will have me returning to this restaurant again and again.

If you have the pleasure of dining at this establishment and are fortunate enough to have Jencyn as your waitress, consider yourself lucky. She is a true gem and an absolute asset to the restaurant. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for her customers make her deserving of nothing less than a...
