by the amount of good reviews, i feel upset having to post something like this. tonight we decided to try somewhere new, knowing this was allens diner when i was a kid, ive been skeptical about the location. at my girlfriends wishes, i ordered nearly $100 in food for the both of us, generally sampling the menu to see whats good and whats not. Traditional gyro & fries — theyre literally the same fries mcdonalds gets, whatever thats not the worst. my pita was toasted… because it was stale. matter of fact, all of my pita was stale (i ordered pita and hummus). Meat was nearly rock hard like the pita. The falafel they have is one of my favorite types, its really hard to mess up falafel, they were a bit over. the sauce that came with the falafel was bad and dated for almost an entire week ago. Best things were the tacos that came with a yummy green sauce and the swift sticks, also coming with a nice sauce. Tzatziki was not good, very bland. I was very disappointed, we love greek food. i hope they were just having a bad night but i dont like how they toasted my pita so i possibly couldnt tell it was stale… Dessert was okay, we both had the pistachio roll baklava. Not sure if we’ll come back.

This place is amazing!! We had passed by many times, and upon having a craving for Mediterranean food and consulting Google, discovered this gem. Don't be fooled by external appearances... not that it's hideous or anything, just maybe not the place one would necessarily stop based on that. Do yourself a favor and go here immediately! Their food, unlike most places, looks exactly like it does in the pictures on their wall when it's placed in front of you on a plate. The two servers we have encountered are both very friendly and good at what they do. The inside is very clean, and to further your confidence, they have their food handling safety certificates posted on the wall. The food is phenomenal. I've never been to Greece, but it is something I would expect froma cafè there. Fresh, flavorful, and soooo tasty! Their pita is definitely homemade, as is the tzatziki (and everything else as well), and I swear they probably even make their own Greek yogurt. Stop waiting and get there now!

We’ve seen this place right on US1 in Fort Pierce and have been trying to come check it out. Although it looks small from the outside, it is very spacious and airy on the inside. The outside is all painted black. It also has big white letters on the top. We thought the name of the place was Al Pastor but apparently it is Swift Grill. As you walk in you will notice a sushi bar?! The cashier is off to the right, and that’s where you place your order. I would say the food is Mediterranean. Think Halal Guys but in a much nicer decor and you can get your meat (chicken or beef/lamb) as tacos too. Food was ok. A bit pricey for what it was. Fries and drinks are extra. You could save a dollar or two by getting ur meal as a combo (fries or rice and a drink) but if you’re getting a bowl that already comes with rice, then I don’t know that I would get the combo. Really enjoyed the skinny fries and the garlic spicy sauce. Other than that, it was ok.

The place is clean and updated, tons of cameras so forget having any privacy while you eat, the menu is simple and limited. The tables are very slender and the booth seat was far away from it. I had to pull the table towards me and sit near the end of the seat to eat properly. If someone had joined me on the otherside of the table eating would have been even more awkward.

The pricing is what you would expect these days. I had the chicken shawarma combo with fries and a drink 15$ and a slice of the biscotti Turkish cheese cake 5.50$. It's a hardy size but if you don't get any of the garlic sauce the dish really lacks flavor. I just wish the meat had more seasoning I feel like that would solve the problem. The fries are plain, nothing to write home about The cheesecake wasn't either 4/10.

I think the biggest issue with my experience was that not only the back of the house but the front of the house kept throwing around curse words for everyone to hear. I was clearly able to hear that their cook was quitting and some employees weren't happy with the way things were operating. The establishment isn't that big and wasn't very busy so you can hear everything. I went there around noon on a Tuesday.

The owner did emerge from his office during my visit, he had a very stern face and didn't appear happy to be there. I also over heard an employee had an issue and the first time she tried to go to him about it she was dismissed by him. I am not sure the reason.

Overall, I am very unlikely to return to this...

This was truly one of the best places I've eaten by far...our experience over all was amazing!! The atmosphere was very beautiful..upgraded modern.. very clean..nothing like you would EVER find in ft.pierce..between the fresh pastries and the different varieties of drinks and the small area to hookah if that's something your Interested in...the food was TOP NOTCH...FRESH...and almost to pretty to eat...it was just my fiance and myself but we couldn't help ordering for 4..the variety of food options we just wanted to eat everything...I don't even eat shrimp and grits but let me tell you it was the best thing I've ever ate..Complements to the chef...the portions and prices were by far the best I've seen anywhere...the service as well was top notch very friendly and accommodating...like I said before our overall experience here was above and beyond what we expected...please go and try it out..don't let the location fool you..I promise you won't be disappointed...if I could give it more then 5 stars I would...SATISFACTION...
