SSS Inlet Bait Tackle — Local services in Fort Pierce

UPDATE we rented again and 5 stars Again! So this is our third Rental from Inlet bait and tackle. I went to a couple of competitors first bc all I really needed was a cargo van. They were all out bc they said FEDEX, UPS and AMAZON have all rented for holidays. So I asked about cargo trucks, same answer, So I called Inlet Bait and Tackle at 1:30pm for a rental I needed at 2:30pm. They got right back to me and secured a truck! I got there at 2:30pm and the truck was waiting for me and clean! All with a very friendly family run business attitude. So while I am not saying they can always come through like they did today, but they will go the extra mile to try to help! Don't go up the block, see my review on them. Let me know how you make out!

UPDATE we rented again and 5 stars Again!

This is my second UHaul rental from Inlet Bait and Tackle. In my last review Inlet Bait and tackle took over when the Uhaul place about 1/4 mile up the road did not show up to their place of business to deliver the truck! (that was Going Postal, don't use them..even after my review the owners did not call me to apologize)

Back to Inlet Bait and Tackle. I was already unhappy (to say the least after wasting 1 1/2 hours while the sun was getting hotter bc of Goin Postal) but the owners of Inlet Bait and Tackle were so nice and Zen they brightened my day. I got a super clean truck and smiling faces coming in and when I returned it.

So of course I rented today from them again. Same family running the shop. Always smiling and friendly. I got there exactly 7am and they were open and ready for me. Real pride in family run business. Super Clean truck again! So if you have to rent in Fort Pierce area or South Vero on the Island, this is the place to go for your U-Haul rental! Inlet Bait and Tackle!

We reserved a U-Haul truck from Goin Postal up the block from this place for December 24, 2018. Let's just say that place the owners never showed up!!..The good part is we found SSS Inlet Bait Tackle and U-Haul!

We arrived and Jay and his staff already had our truck clean and ready to go. They did the paperwork in just a few minutes and we went out to the truck. Super clean and only 2664 miles! ( Jay said to remind people he cannot always get trucks with only 2664 miles but they will be clean!)

A quick inspection, add a dolly and hand truck and we were off for a day of moving! Everything went so smooth this is our new go to place to rent a U-Haul truck! If you live anywhere near this location, reserve the U-Haul from Jay...

Absolutely the best bait and tackle shop in Fort Pierce, FL! On our way to the beach, we stopped at SSS Inlet Bait Tackle and had one of the best customer service experiences ever. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect fishing trip.

This shop is perfectly located right off US Hwy 1, making it super convenient to swing by before heading out to the Fort Pierce Inlet, Indian River Lagoon, or South Hutchinson Island beaches. They carry live bait, fresh tackle, fishing gear, ice, food, and snacks — everything in one spot so you don’t have to run around town before getting on the water.

I'm reviewing solely on the bait and tackle part of the shop. After we found this place we don't go to anybody else. The owners are nice and friendly and will accommodate pretty much anything that you need fishing wise. If they don't have it they will order it.

We go there at least three times a week for their live shrimp which is very competitively priced and always good quality. They usually put a few more shrimp than what we ask for as well. They have rods, reels, lures, hook, live bait, frozen bait.
