We made arrangement to look at a 2016 Escalade they had on the lot. We understood they had got it in and hadn't sent it through service yet which was fine. Pad was great which is the reason for two stars. We went on a test drive and noticed a few issues. The engine coolant gauge was staying at 160 degrees not moving at all it was 100 degrees outside and the Escalades have a 195 degree thermostat in them. The wireless charger on the center console was not working. The front brake rotors needed replaced because it shacked when braking and the cooler and the cooling cup holders weren't working.
Pad told us they work up some numbers and then the sales manager came over and introduced himself nice enough guy introduced himself as the janitor seemed to have a sense of humor then him and what I assume were a mechanic went out with the OBD2 reader and were in the car for a while. Then they came back and the mechanic sat down and talked to us and this is where our experience went bad.
He said that the oil temp was 71 degrees c and that the gauge was working correctly. It wasn't a oil temp gauge that wasn't working it was the engine coolant sensor. He said they connected their phone to the blue tooth and it was working and everything was working as should. Now someone that doesn't know about cars may of believed this and may of bought a extended warranty and been alright. However having way past basic knowledge of cars this didn't fly with me so I asked again about it and he said everything worked as should. Now ask yourself if during the sell they try to push that stuff off and say it works what are they going to do after you have bought the car and signed the papers. Do you really think they are going to fix the issues? They had just sold this car 6 months prior as well. Most likely pushing it on some unknowing customer that then traded it in because of the electrical issues it was having and most likely they do the same. Hopefully whoever buys it buys the warranty so there only out the deductible when they try to get it fixed. As for me I will stay far away from Briggs and find a car else where at more honest dealership.
For those that may see this review why the Escalade is still for sell check those things out its Stock#: FT24011T3 and VIN:...
Read moreFrom the moment I began my search for a specific vehicle at Briggs Ft. Scott, I have been pleasantly surprised at how professionally the team at the dealership has accommodated my auto needs.
A speedy reply to my initial inquiry by a Pre-qualifying agent, set the tone for a very positive relationship with Briggs, and it’s extraordinary customer service. Once he knew that I was a serious buyer, I received an immediate call from Troy Dalton, and we instantly developed rapport and discussed my deal.
Within minutes on the phone, we were comfortable to demonstrate mutual trust (a unique auto industry character), that allowed me to purchase the vehicle from Briggs without even test-driving the car. Troy prepared a thorough video of all pertinent details about the car, met all of my specific requests and criteria, and I felt comfortable enough to have my banker discuss financing and the paperwork exchange promptly thereafter, to consummate my purchase.
Troy’s 30 years of auto sales wisdom helped to facilitate a seamless transaction with my banker (at a fair price), that is enabling me to get the car delivered to my home some 400 miles away, in less than 72 hours from my initial contact with the dealership. I am very happy with his prioritizing my car purchase, and for creating a simple, yet easy process, to complete our business together. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a vehicle to consider Briggs Auto and Troy’s qualified Team, you won’t be disappointed.

Read morehold my drink I got a story to tell you y'all. I think for mechanics they're not bad. But the service department management or at least the lady that picks up the phone horrible. Like she will never call you back like never. You can call and they will say she not available. But don't worry you just have to walk In The door to see her at her desk. So calling is useless. My truck was there for over a month. And still didn't get fixed. Story keep changing about what was wrong with the truck. And if it wasn't for me pushing everyday my truck would have sat there for year. Also I had 2 fuel injectors leaking when dropped off. They fixed that under warranty but all of a sudden my dpf sensors went bad. And that not covered. But instead of Ordering the part they just sat there. No one calling for warranty or anything. Also I just got the truck 6 months ago and they wanted me to pay 6,000 for a part witch I would have payed for if they ordered instead of just sitting there doing nothing. So this company is taking advantage of a small town. Go to Pitt or...
