Dollar General — Local services in Fort Scott

7-26-22 I previously gave a 4 star however my senior disabled mother went to ask about getting boxes and the staff was extremely rude. They told her she could get boxes but if she messed anything up or broke anything etc., etc., they would call the police and sue her etc., etc., with what my mother described as very rudely and mean. First off you are staff, at most a manager and you can’t sue anyone, so get over yourself. Secondly break what? Just asking for your trash boxes to move. Third, to go to such extremes with a senior who was probably stuttering and nervous because she has intellectual disabilities is unacceptable. I feel like going and giving this employee a piece of my mind and putting her in her place but people like that sometimes are more at a disadvantage mentally than my poor mom. I will NEVER shop there , will tell everyone of this disgusting behavior and NEVER allow my mom who shops there often to shop there again. Smaller store but seem to have good deals on their ads. I only shop there when they have good ads. It's a great place to buy sodas. Watch out for sales...they don't do Pepsi products even though they often have it on their sale ads. Canned goods, sodas, chips, candy are items I often purchase there.
