I am writing to express serious concerns regarding the sanitary conditions and overall safety practices at your establishment. While there are clearly posted signs discouraging customers from vaping, it appears that staff routinely ignore this policy—particularly the individual with a Scottish accent and the owner herself. I have personally witnessed both individuals vaping at the front counter on multiple occasions.
This behavior raises legitimate concerns about food sanitation, especially given that vaping near food preparation areas compromises both cleanliness and customer safety. Beyond the obvious fire risk, the vapor itself can pose a serious health threat—particularly for individuals with compromised respiratory systems, such as those affected by long COVID, like myself.
It is deeply troubling that an establishment that claims to be inclusive would engage in practices that endanger the health of its most vulnerable patrons. The hypocrisy of enforcing rules for customers while staff ignore them undermines trust and creates an unwelcoming, unsafe environment.
I hope these concerns are taken seriously and addressed appropriately to ensure a safer, more respectful space for...
Read moreStopped here after a grocery run. My fiance and I run a regular DnD game and as we were leaving spotted the New addition that seemed to have miraculously appeared between the beauty store and mega replay. It was right after opening we had the whole place to ourself. Honestly the Breakfast was just what I needed after working a late night shift. The MelonBerry Cove was refreshing and paired nicely with the Warm Sausage, Egg, and Gouda Everything Bagel Sandwhich. Had the pleasure of meeting the store owner Reith. She was very kind and pleasant as we ordered and wandered around taking in the place. This place is worth the stop. They have an Amazing Atmosphere. A Good collection of anything a Tabletop Gamer might need. With comfortable spots to sit and enjoy with friends. Play or just catch a bite after getting womped on by a mimic for the...
Read moreThe staff, cafe, mtg card buying request opportunities, and events are great. Staff can be distracted, and lack of mtg rule regulation. Theres a friendly dog there regularly too.
Theres $2 muffins, $4-5 beverages, enthusiastic staff who love to have discussions, 80% of my requested cards are there for a lot less than other stores or trades provide, and pods and tournaments. The downfall is the staff have to individually prioritize activities like fulfilling cafe orders or card requests. Sometimes card requests (5-10 cards) can be 15 minutes to half am hour since staff will be busy talking to others perhaps asking questions. Mtg players can cheat and manipulate easily leading to frustration for new players, and returning old players. A dog is regularly there. A welcoming, and trained dog that doesnt...
