Nail Love and Spa — Local services in Fort Wayne

I went to this place a couple days ago, i told her twice I wanted my nails shorter then that, she cut them back twice but still not enough, she seemed annoyed, so I didn’t ask a third time which I really regret. She wasn’t very friendly, spoke to her friend working right next to us the entire time in another language which I thought was really rude. When I was asked to wash my hands, she said just use water, when I asked where to go she said just use water again and was very short, I did find the sink in the back. I showed her a picture of how I wanted them painted, she did a good job on the French manicure however the nails were so much longer then I like that I’m not happy with the look. Also my acrylic is very thick, some nails are more curved shaped and some are flatter, but all around just thick. I would say you get what you pay for. I wanted more affordable nails and that’s what I get for trying to save money. The quality I’m used to when I go to another salon is worth the extra expense. Since the owners passing, the place has went way down hill.. they charge for EVERYTHING!! Don't understand why you would get charged for nail polish removal when it has to be removed before they can perform your service that you are already paying for..I can see if I just wanted to change the color, no.. they were charging $10 to take off my polish to do a fill.. And to top that off.. I literally would have go home and fix crooked, uneven nails.. the same shape I had been getting for a couple years now they can't do.. And the final straw was she had talked me into going with a "better" system and to do so I would have to let my natural nails grow for 3 plus months and do a soak off and then do this system.. I did and we had talked about it and set it up for 2 weeks after that visit and when I get there, she pryed my nails off ripped my natural nails WAY to far back to the point I literally was bleeding!! I have since found an amazing new place .

Update: Tina is AMAZING! I have been going to her for a couple of years now and she always, ALWAYS amazes me with her work!!

The man that did my nails did good work although I wish they had more options for things to do art wise with my nails. His work was good like I said but he was very rude and short with me and almost seemed annoyed that he had to do my nails. He got super annoyed when I said I also wanted a pedicure even though he wasnt the one doing the pedicure. Tommy did my pedicure and was absolutely AMAZING. He was friendly made me feel comfortable did amazing work and wasnt rude or short even though I'm sure he was exhausted bc I was his last pedicure of the day. He made sure he did great work and even though pedicures weren't part of my ordinary self care plan Tommy now has himself a new loyal customer who will see him monthly at the very least and tip him quite nicely!
