We went prom dress shopping. There is a pretty good selection of dresses. Long wait for fitting rooms but understandable because it was busy. We found a dress that my daughter was pretty sure she liked and I was worried with only one in her size that if we didn't buy it we might end up with no dress. So we purchased the dress. They salesperson, Amanda No 14572 ( I got this off the receipt) said hello but nothing else besides the total for the purchase price and have a nice day when we left. Friendly enough. I paid cash for the dress. There is also an Assoc # 17359 on receipt. We went a few more places to shop for other things away from the mall. My daughter had second thoughts about the dress so I decided we should return it that same day. The prom is an important event and this is her senior year and it should be special. My daughter and her friend went in the mall to return the dress. They were treated rudely by the person they spoke to, to return the dress. I do not know the name of the person working up at the register at this time, it may have been the same person who checked us out. They were treated so badly that my daughter came out in tears. They were told you can't return prom dresses. I was surprised as I have never been anywhere where you can't return something unless it has been altered. The salesperson didn't even look at the item the girls were returning to know what it was even. I do not know about most people but when I am buying something I look at the size and price tag. There were five tags on this dress. So not paying attention to the other tags we didn't see the one that said no returns. And nothing was said when we checked out. Who expects not to be able to return something like a dress? I don't think many people. And I don't think most people read every tag. I guess my suggestion would be-Post signs about the no return policy on certain items and make sure your sales people let the person also know when they are checking out. Please don't ruin another girls...
Read moreI just shopped here on Saturday night. I went in and was looking at a cute jacket, when I picked up the jacket from the rack the whole bar fell down on the ground along with the clothes. I was shocked at what just happed and the lady behind the register told me to leave it there instead of picking it up. The rack was full of sweaters and heavy jackets. So I continue shopping and decide to check out 5 minutes after the incident. As I was waiting in line, the lady behind the register told an employee to go pick up the mess. As she walked over to the incident she was extremely unprofessional and started yelling asking who would do such a thing. Everyone in the store was watching her throw a temper tantrum about picking up the clothes. Literally. I was waiting in line, scared, that she was going to do something to me based on her crazy behavior. I never wanted to make her mad but the lady behind the register told me to just leave it so that’s what I did. Her crazy behavior was shocking considering she would act like that in front of many customers. After she picked up the mess she came behind the register where I was checking out, still very angry, saying those savages and other disgusting things. She was 100% the worst employee I have ever seen. If I was the boss there she’d be fired ON THE SPOT. She was about 5’0 short brown hair, with an extreme behavior issue. I only shop here once in a while but after that horrible customer service, never...
Read moreI’m not sure this store has even just ONE friendly, helpful, or polite staff member. A friend and I took our teenage daughters to look for prom dresses today, and the woman working the dressing room reprimanded me for using the ‘hook’ myself (because she wasn’t around, and had already not been helpful the entire hour we’d been there already), telling me “Do not do that ever again.” I told her she wasn’t around, and was honestly shocked she would speak in such a threatening tone to a customer. She mumbled something about how she knows she’s just standing there on her phone, but she can help. Then, she proceeded to go tell a co-worker about it, loudly so other customers could hear. So, when we needed a dress in another size, we asked if they had one. Same worker who was rude that I used the hook to retrieve a dress, pointed to where we could get the dress in a different size. We asked if it is down low where we could reach, and she condescendingly told us yes. Good customer service would have led her to actually getting the dress for us, or politely walking us to that area. The cashier up front was also snarky as well. Find a different store to get your prom dress because that is just an awful experience for that...
