ZAKS Suits & Bridal — Local services in Fort Wayne

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Zak’s in Fort Wayne deserves attention. I purchased an item that was completely unused and still in its original packaging, only to be told I couldn’t return it because their policy only allows returns within 2 days. Two days? That’s an absurdly short window, especially for items that aren’t perishable or custom-made.

This policy feels more like a trap than customer service. Most reputable businesses offer at least a week — some even 30 days — to ensure customer satisfaction. I expected better from a local store that claims to value its customers.

If you’re shopping here, be absolutely certain you won’t need to return anything. Because once that 48-hour clock runs out, you’re stuck. I won’t be returning to Zak’s, and I’ll be warning others to think twice...

This was the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a suit for a member of my family. Five members of my family used Zaks for an upcoming wedding. Yasso was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about fitting us for suits. He worked and worked with us until we were satisfied. Here is the best part. After picking up my husband’s suit which had been altered in the waist, he discovered that it had been taken in instead of taken out. It was five days before the wedding. We took it back and Yasso immediately corrected the problem. We had the suit altered correctly within two hours. He apologized profusely. We left the store happy. Really great quality pieces and material all around! Love the selection of styles along w/ the pricing you really can’t go wrong. The owner/family of the store are very personable, reasonable, and the customer service is unmatched! They accommodate to the needs (in this space ofc) and are always very genuine and friendly. I bought a suit jacket, and one of the buttons came off, they were quick (and happy) to fix it. I’ve had positive experiences EVERY time I’ve shopped here and will recommend to anyone that wants to look great, have excellent service, and not break the bank. Honestly, it’s really hard to beat.
