Amazing customer service! Not checking store hours, I drove in from an hour away on a Monday desperately needing something I could only get from them. (Three other brewing stores in the area don’t carry it.) of course it was closed -But- the owner (?) just happened to be onsite fulfilling orders. He happened to walk out of the store while I was in the middle of calling other places all over DFW he very graciously went in and got me what I needed. I have been a customer at Brewhound for many years now after another homebrew shop closed. It takes me 30 minutes each way to drive to the shop but I gladly do it because of the excellent customer service here!

Brewhound carries a wide variety of ingredients that are fresh and high-quality. The owner Chris is happy to put together custom orders for batches just by emailing a request. I live in north Carrollton and happily drive all the way to the west side of Fort Worth to get supplies/ingredients. Chris is the only shop I'm aware of that carries Imperial Yeast, and don't hesitate to make a request on a specific hop or other ingredient. Chris will gladly make orders for you. The real differentiator with Brewhound is that Chris also takes a consultative role with his clients and I have found that to be priceless.
