To be clear before writing this review - the 1 star is STRICTLY for the PHARMACY dept.
Monday 2/5/24 - My son was terribly ill, and his doctor called in antibiotics for him to start ASAP. We have had medications called into two different Walgreens locations, both on Camp Bowie in the past. The doctor's appt wasn't until 4:30, so by the time we left and the called it in, the pharmacy received the order and got it ready - it was after 6:00
I called Walgreens to try to find out which pharmacy the prescription was at, but was on hold forever so I drove to the one we most frequently use. They told me it was called into this location (Camp Bowie and LVT).
I rushed over as fast as I could so I could make it before the pharmacy closed and get my poor child his medicine, and I was in line at the pharmacy at 6:44. There were only two cars in front of me, but it was taking forever and I was worried they would shut the window even though I was in line well before 7:00, so I decided to park and go inside to pick it up.
I walked inside at 6:52 and they already had the door pulled down as if they were closed - a door which displayed a large sign saying "Open from 9:00 - 7:00 p.m.)". I knocked and said "hello" because they were supposed to be open and I could literally hear two pharmacy techs talking to each other and blatantly ignoring me. I was almost in tears. It was a tall younger man (who clearly has no idea what it's like to have a suffering child) and woman who I didn't see.
I have NEVER had a Walgreens pharmacy just decide to close early because they felt like it and I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to do that. As I was driving away (still not 7:00), I saw them pull the window shut and ignore the car that had been in front of me and waiting for more than 15 minutes. Totally unprofessional.
These two technicians are clearly in the wrong industry. Working in a pharmacy where sick people getting depends solely on YOU being present during open hours and doing your job - is not for lazy people so eager to get off work that they ignore sick customers. So...

So as I'm dropping my prescription off at 10:00am I'm told that it'd be ready in an hour and I'd receive a text when it's Avalible for pick up and if feeling horrible so I go pick up my child from my mother inlaws house and go visit my mom for about 45 mins come back and it's already been an hour I come back to Walgreen in hopes that it's been an hour and 15 mins that'd my prescription would be ready as I'm pull up to the drive through window they wait for I sware 5 mins to attend me and as I get attended they tell me it's not ready yet so I'm being patient I ask how much longer the pharmacist tells me another hour or so I come back in 2 hours and yet again it's still not ready so keep in mind im feeling horrible with body aches and sore throat and a cough this sucks and they send me to the other lane and I kid you not I'm still waiting been waiting for a whole other 20 mins till they finally give me my prescription. I usually always go to CVS the one time I come to Walgreens I wait for about 4 hours for my meds. Never again I'll tell...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in to get my Covid booster today. I had an appointment. Admittedly I was late. By my car clock 10 minutes, I stood politely at the window and a lady said she would help me shortly. She stated that twice. She asked me when my appointment was. I told her her and apologized for being late. She got very rude and told me I was 19 minutes late. I told her by my car clock I was only 10 minutes late (in a kind voice). She again said I was 20 minutes late and she would have to work me in and I didnāt understand that appts were booked in 10 minute increments. I said there was no one in front or behind me (again, in a kind voice). She said something else rudely like Iāll have to work you in. I was close to tears and told her my FIL had died today and I was just trying to get the booster before flying. I told her I did not appreciate her rudeness and was leaving. She did apologize but by then I was embarrassed and...
