EJ Nails & Spa — Local services in Fort Worth

I'm only giving 2 stars because they agreed to do them when I came in 10 minutes before they closed. I won't go into details of the technician in reference because I'm sure it was an isolated incident. Factoring in the time I don't hate my nails, but I was so disappointed that I just got up paid and left very abruptly not leaving any tip. Which I have never not tipped at any establishment that provided such services. No one was rude to me or the other patron. I am just so sick of every time I go to a shop located on the South West side of Fort Worth, which is where I reside, I get told "sure I can do it " when I show them a picture and end up feeling unheard. I get halfway through the process and remind them of what i want flashing the photo again and being told "oh i don't do designs sorry". Then them trying to "fix" it makes everything even worse. This time I tried to stay positive and keep asking the gentlemen are we still doing the pinky nails. I even went with something simpler that I actually got from the Google photo reviews of this shop and showed the man the photo. He kept trying to assure me he will do later. I said something when my nails were in there natural state because I know what I want and the technique for what I wanted was not the same as what he was continuing to do. Once my fustration level was near a rude attitude level I felt it best to just take my hand back and leave beforeI started to Express that. Which I did but not w/o payment of course. Just hoping someone can tell me a good place on this side of town that won't have me feeling...

I took my granddaughter here, it was both of our first time to visit. First and foremost they overcharged a 10-year-old who was paying for her own nails with her birthday money. Second off they glued one of her nails on very crooked two of mine were also crooked when we tried to let them know that they were crooked they ignored it and continued on. Nancy left several scabs on both of our fingers and although we were there over 4 hours with only two customers when we arrived our set of nails didn't even last 3 days. I don't mean that we bump them and knock them off I mean these nails were literally falling off she lost two nails I lost three. She got acrylic and I got dip powder, they have terrible customer service they overcharge children and their work doesn't last at all. I wasn't even going to leave a review but I'm floored that I had so many issues even with them knowing it was our first time to visit. I have now had to go in there three times to get three different nails replaced and I have only had the set for 6 days. Needless to say I would not be back and I would not waste your money do yourself a favor and drive a couple of more miles...

I thought I had found a new nail salon since Tommy did an excellent job on my first visit. The second visit was horrible. Tina did my nails and rushed the entire time. Instead of doing what I asked for, she did what SHE wanted and expected me to just smile and accept it. My nails were uneven and she refused to file them even. I got the dip powder and my nails were still able to bend. They didn’t do any sculpting to my nails at all, so the powder is just sitting on top of my nails. Tommy tried to help her, but he filed my toenail down until it bled. They don’t speak English very well and asked me to explain things to a customer. I came for services, not to provide them.

UPDATEReturned today 6/21 to give them another try. They completely turned things around this visit! Leon did a great job on my nails and Tommy did an excellent pedicure. Tina also did great with my eyebrows and design on my toes. I’m completely satisfied, good customer service...
