Not sure if these are fake good ratings, but you can’t be a hit or miss and still be in business. The owner started off nice and friendly but that quickly changed once she received full payment for work she had not preformed yet. My husband and I dropped off our holiday outfits on a Saturday, I called her on the following Monday to confirm they would be altered, pressed and ready for pickup by Thursday. She said she would not press them, shes not a dry cleaner. I said but you’re a tailor, how do you make sure you’ve done your job right if you don’t press them. She repeated very rudely she’s not a dry cleaner. I asked her to NOT work on my clothes I’d be picking them up Tuesday. She quickly changed from not pressing them to being ok with pressing them. I confirmed with her more than once before hanging up. Thursday morning, I called to ask if they were ready. She was to alter my gown and my husband 3 piece suit. She said she hadn’t started on my husband’s suit. It needs a lot of work. I asked if they would be ready by 12:30pm my lunch hour. She said no, come after. 3:30pm. I asked if she would have them pressed like we agreed she said no, she will not press them. We weren’t able to try them on till the day of our event, my husband had a hard time with his vest as it would not button, she was supposed to take it in because it was too big, she took off way too much. The sleeves to his jacket were off, one side was shorter than the other. Again he had a hard time closing his jacket. The length in his pants needed some adjustment because they were too long, they were now above his ankles. My gown, one strap hung longer than the other, my length was not adjusted but charged for it. DO NOT USE HER SERVICES. Not only would she not give me back my clothes when I asked for them BEFORE any work was performed on them but we are out of the money we paid for our holiday attire AND the money we paid for a messed up alteration, plus paid to have someone press it because she refused to do it. I hope this review helps anyone trying to decide who to go to for an alteration. I have a regular tailor we normally use, you will find a good review for him that I posted months ago, unfortunately he was closed for the holiday so we were forced to try someone new....

We took our vacation clothes to be altered. Many of the pieces were new. Most items were too large and needed to be taken in or hemmed. Owner asked when we were leaving and promised to have them done in two weeks on a Saturday at 3pm. When we arrived to pick them up she’s laughing and saying she’s been so busy she’s not done yet. We don’t live in Lake Worth so we had driven there only for the clothes. She kept apologizing but when we asked why she didn’t call she just said “yeah I should have called you “. She told me to come back Tuesday knowing we’re leaving town the next day. I picked them up that day and when I got home we started trying on clothes. There was something incorrect about almost every piece. Dresses still dragged the floor, new shirts that were once too big now can’t close because too much material was removed and one dress was so messed up I’ll have to pay to take it elsewhere. I couldn’t wear it at all. We usually drive to grapevine to get work like this done but decided to give the his place a shot. We spent over $500 to get the work done and when I called her after we tried the clothes on she just said she would fix it when we got back. There’s no way to fix some of it so we’re out the money we paid for the new clothes and the money to have them altered. Would never take anything back to this shop. My husband took a pair of dress pants here & had to take them back because the hem length was above his ankles, second attempt was just covering his ankle. His pants were completely ruined by the tailor. I also took a sequined dress with a small elegant train in which only the front of the dress was supposed to be altered. She (the tailor) altered the dress completely therefore eliminating the beautiful elegant train & ruining my dress.
