the tea is great and i love the coffee aswell, but my working experience here is the reason of the one star but honestly it doesn’t even deserve any stars at all my experience working here was horrible , i was 16 when i first started didn’t really know anything about working much, but i was only scheduled once or twice a week , the manager here (ashley) has a big favoritism problem and when being a manager you have to be very professional and fair and mostly understanding and there was none of that , she has favorites and with that the ones that she’s close with got raises very often and they got them when they asked ,i worked here for a year and a couple months and i asked for a raise and she said she would ask madison (the owner) after i asked ashley treated me very different she ignored me and was very rude when speaking to me witch seems very unprofessional all i wanted was a answer also they do NOT give breaks, if you take a break for a couple mins your told to get up and do something when working for hours all the way threw you deserve a break!!! also the pay is not worth the drama here madison is very unprofessional as-well she would talk badly about me and other employees and that’s not okay, she hires a lot of kids because they don’t know, if ashley was upset about something you’d get treated differently and that’s very childish for a manager i was making 9$/ hr while people that ashley where close with where making 11$-12$/hr she was also hiring people at different wages people would say it’s bc experience but that’s a cover up bc she knew them personally you also don’t get any discounts or anything working here and you don’t get paid for meetings or anything they really walk all over you and it’s not okay, but please don’t let your kids work here it’s really not a good place soooo many other places pat you better and you get treated...
Read moreI was super excited yesterday for the grand opening I went in and tried most if not all of the teas. If I'm being honest I was very underwhelmed which was unfortunate because I've been waiting for this location to open for awhile. I will say that all the teas I tried were good in overall flavor but my issue was they weren't even close to sweet enough. I understand that not everyone has the same preferences when it comes to tea but it was hard to tell a difference between sweet and unsweetened in my opinion and if you were to get ice by the time it begins to melt your drink will be flavorless. We live in texas where it gets really hot... ice melts fast and to counter that....more sugar should be added...once again in my opinion. My family agrees that it was underwhelming and would prefer the drinks to be a little sweeter. I'm going to assume the drinks are all made the same way with a set list of how much ingredients are to be added but if not they should really try adding a little more sugar to the sweetened versions. If things change so will my review :)
UPDATED: So I've been to this location a few times since my initial review and what I'll say I have noticed is that the tea is only sweet when you get it with no ice.... the ice gets rid of most the sweetness AND flavor. I order blueberry sweet tea with no ice and it's GREAT! Unfortunately once ice is added they all become extremely bland. Still confused why it takes so long to go through the drive through when all your getting is drinks. The wait is kinda long for a drink and occasional small snack. I will increase my stars though as I have...
Read moreI didn’t understand people complaining about the long wait since they just opened. However, having one cashier to deal with a store full of people was ridiculous. They could’ve had employees walk around with tablets & check people out to get them out quicker. The store set up doesn’t work when the store is packed with people. Others are walking against the line & there is no counter space to set anything while waiting in a long line. I’m not impressed with the concept or their teas. Certain ones aren’t sweet enough & they all lack any real flavor. Once you add ice and that ice quickly melts in the Texas heat, the tea will only taste more watered down. So, we’re all basically just buying lightly flavored water. 🙄 Their dried tea (that you can bring home & prepare yourself) would be your best bet for a more flavorful tea that’s sweetened to your likely. The only pro to this store is their extensive selection of Yeti products. If you need a replacement lid for your Yeti cup or a cooler, this is the place to go. HOWEVER, nothing is priced so you’ll need to stand in a long...
