ALDI I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern about an incident that occurred this morning at your store.
While waiting in line to check out, I noticed that the cashier, who claimed to be the store manager, refused to call for a supervisor when I requested it. I had been patient and even allowed two other customers to go ahead of me. However, as I was placing my items at the register, an impatient customer behind me was allowed to cut in front without any consideration for my turn.
When I addressed this issue with the cashier, I was met with disrespectful comments. He stated that I was "no one" and that he could do as he pleased, completely disregarding the fact that I was next in line. I found his behavior to be extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. It is important for all customers to be treated fairly and with respect, regardless of the number of items they have.
I believe that everyone deserves to wait their turn, and the actions of your employee created a negative experience for me. I hope you will address this matter with him, as I feel it is essential for your staff to understand the impact of their actions on customers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing how you plan to address this situation.
To top it up i was called a Karen as i expressed how his action made me feel

Read moreWhen I first moved to the area over four years ago, this was a decent location. It was very much the same as the other Aldi stores in the way they treated their customers. In the last two years I have noticed a big change in their mentality. In that same time they reduced their store hours by dropping their closing time from 9 pm to 8 pm. They began a tradition of cupping their hands together and yelling throughout the store when it gets close to 7:50pm that, " the store will be closing in so many minutes. If you are not in line before then the registers will be closed and you will have to come back tomorrow morning." That didn't sit well with me. Ever since Aldi opened their doors in the Grand Prairie/Arlington area approximately 18 years ago, they have NEVER threatened to close the registers and force people to come back the following day. This along with their new closing hours and higher inflated pricing are the main reasons I don't shop here as often. There are three Kroger stores and two Tom Thumbs conveniently closer with longer store hours and quite often better deals. If they continue to treat customers poorly, I can see them going the down the path that Safeway, Food Lion, Kmart and many others have. Poor service results...
Read moreAldi is my go to grocery store. I move around DFW fairly often but no matter where I move to I always do my shopping at an Aldi. I have been saving a lot of money shopping here compared to Wal-mart and Target. To save money at Wal-mart you have to buy the great value brand, but a lot of the time they're low quality products. Aldi brands are about the same price as great value but they're almost always better quality, sometimes even organic at Aldi is cheaper than regular products at Wal-Mart. I'm single and I spend about $40-$50 a week on groceries and a few other things, but I always have a full fridge and pantry. I never fell like I'm skimping out when I'm shopping. There are a couple of weird things like bringing your own bags, a relatively small product selection, and bringing a quarter to borrow a shopping cart. But for the savings, I'm more than happy to oblige. No matter what Aldi I go to the wait to check out is never more than 15 minutes even if they're busy. It definitely feels like a lifestyle to shop at Aldi, but I'm happy...
