The lady I taked to was very rude and did not treat me with respect, I introduced myself when coming into the store and she brushed it off and said it was nice to meet you without telling me her name She also couldnāt answer any questions I had about the stuff that they were not going to take like OK where would I take this item like my Jade artifacts everything that I asked said she didnāt know and she was very annoyed by the fact I was asking her questions and also she offered me $25 for 3 of the items that I brought in one in I know itās worth $25 just for its weight which if you take antiques and advertise it maybe Take that off your sign I brought in numerous coins that are older and some antique jade artifacts rhat I have ā¦..anyways the point is is she made me feel like I was lesser than her or thatās how she felt anyways and Iām already going through a hard enough time I donāt need somebody making me feel like that as well Edit: I just would like to think PMR they reached out to me the district manager I actually met up with him and he apologized for stuff hours behavior just you know smooth everything out so I just wanted to say I appreciate that and sorry to be so long to put this edit in at five stars for the extra effort of actually...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePMI is great. The staff is non judgmental. Down to earth. They know their product. They can help you on the spot. They have the latest XFR technology. It was my first time visiting PMI today. I needed something tested that looked like aluminum. Most people would say it's probably aluminum. The PMI employee was so nice he tested the piece of metal for me even know it looked like aluminium and felt like aluminum. He said sure. It turned out to be MN. Magnesium. Still nothing valuable. I'm not their typically customer. I don't sell gold or silver. The items I study I don't sell. I study archeology and sometimes having an XRF reader is helpful. The PMI employee that helped me didn't know he was holding an artifact and I didn't tell him I own an independent research group either. So as far as he knew I was some bum off the street. They treat people fairly. It doesn't matter who you are. Testing metal cost a lot. If you have something questionable that you want tested it's probably best to contact them ahead of time for pricing. If you have gold and silver for sure, than I would say just stop on by PMI. They will take care of you. I was impressed today. See picture of magnesium casted nugget. PMI tested 99.9 MN results July 30 2025. Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience at this place was absolutely horrible. First they quoted a gold spot price that was well below the actual spot price at the time. Then they offered a ridiculously low amount for a premium gold coin (86% of spot). The clerk was very rude and when I complained, they asked me to leave. I sold the coin at another coin store up the street for a lot more (95% of spot). The difference in dollars was significant. I would not recommend PMR to anyone; look elsewhere. Their response below is false, they never offered me 95%, instead they tried to low ball me. I pointed out their offer was well below spot and at least $250 below the value of the coin at that time. Furthermore, I never made any threats of any kind. I called another coin dealer on the phone and secured a better deal in front of their other customers. I know how the coin trade works and believe they tried to take advantage of me. IMHO, PMR is the worst place in town to sell precious metals. I recommend Arizona Coins & Collectables. Peter was very nice and did not play any games; he gave me his best offer up front. You should go there first; he is just up the...
