Update to my review. I email my information over to the email provided below along with my experience and never heard a word back. The worst part is my daughter went to the same location this morning and guess what our table was again seated with some other party. We were told about 15 mins upon our arrival. When I started noticing people being seated who came in after us, I went to the hostess and asked for an update on our table. Surprise our name had been removed and another party was seated. No one ever called our name and a text was never sent. We were immediately sat at that time however the waiting area was basically empty. This is the 2nd time this same thing has happened at this location. We really enjoy the food at first watch but these experiences are causing you to lose a loyal patron. Hopefully this is addressed with your staff and others don’t encounter this.
We visit this location at least a couples times on month for brunch. Usually everything goes smoothly. Yesterday I checked in online prior to arriving. My daughter and I checked in upon arrival and the hostess told me it would less than 10 minutes and i would receive a text when my table was ready. We waited in our car for about 20 minutes when I went in to check on the table that should've been ready. When I reached the hostess stand and explained the situation I was told someone was already seated under my name, even though I never received a text. I understand someone must have come in and was seated in our place, however the text was never sent and I had I not went back in to check we would've never been seated. I know many people come and go but the hostess had just seen us a few minutes prior so I don't understand how our table was given to another party. We were immediately seated but that was it, not...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by First Watch in terms of food! The omelets are a good size, the pancakes are a surprisingly big size (they're not kidding about the size!!), and the potatoes are so flavorful! Also tried a bite of their french toast and the flavor is amazing.
I also paired some of the preserves from the pancake with the toast that came with the omelet and I highly recommend that pairing!!
Altogether, definitely recommend First Watch for a nice delicious breakfast or brunch!
Now, the only reason I didn't give a 5 star was the wait. We had chosen pick up and we did arrive a few minutes early but we still ended up waiting a half hour past the time anyway. It was really busy so it's hard to say if there is an optimal time or if dine in would be better than take out.
Other than the long wait (which you could tell some items were done on time like the melted butter for my barely still warm pancake), the food was good and do recommend trying it! I hope to try it and not have as long of a wait to fully enjoy the flavors of the items when they're still hot and fresh.
Update: still holding the same rating because food is always delicious and their seasonal drinks (nonalcoholic at least not sure about alcoholic) are very worth it, but service makes it a 4. Usually, no issues and amazing service! But sometimes there are issues where it feels like we get forgotten by our server or couple of times where we did not get called up to be seated despite the text saying we were next before multiple parties go ahead. However!! Manager was amazing the one time we talked to one. So 9/10 great service with 9.9/10...
Read moreWe came in to what looked like a mad clean up after a rush. The manager looked a bit frazzled but we did get sat quickly. The server came over in maybe 2 mins to drop off a pot of coffee and told us she would be back. She did not ask if we had any questions or offer recommendations and only asked if we were ready to order. After taking our order she proceeded out to the patio, it was apparent she did not put out order in. Tables got sat around us after we did and they still received their food before we did. I am not sure but the food felt like it took 25+ mins. They were obviously understaffed and our server did try which is why I will not name them. Food was good but the biscuits and gravy were very different, tasted like Thanksgiving dinner lol. We then went to cash out, we walked to the host to pay and proceeded to pay our $29 check with a $50 bill. The host gave us a $20 and a $1 back and hurried away, did not even give us an option to tip. We had to wait for someone to come back to break the bill then they ran away! We stood there for a good amount of time waiting before someone took the tip to put in the "tip book". During this time we were unable to see our server to give the tip straight to her. Needless to say, not pushing to go back any time soon but may visit again after a while to see if it...
