I initially placed an order for a mattress at this store in May. Isaiah told me the mattress wasn't in stock and it could take up to two weeks to arrive, which I was okay with.
Two weeks came and went. After about three weeks, Isaiah called me to ask if I wanted to come in and pick out a different mattress. I went in and tried out some different mattresses, but they had very little in stock for the size I was looking for (full). They called around and told me because of COVID-19, the mattress I ordered wouldn't even be on the truck until the end of July. Okay, fine. It's a pandemic so what can you do.
The end of July came and went with no word. By mid-August, I decided to go down there and ask for my money back. I wasn't angry or anything; it wasn't their fault the pandemic was affecting mattress manufacturing. But the whole thing clearly wasn't working out.
When I walked in and presented my receipt, the sales associate popped in the back and re-emerged to tell me they had my mattress. Really? Now I started to get suspicious. If my mattress was in the store this whole time, why hadn't anyone called me?
When the mattress was delivered I was pretty intent on making sure it was the model I ordered (I still had my receipt), but beyond the brand there was no way to tell if it was or not. So I don't know if what I received actually is the model of mattress I ordered or not, but I can tell you this: it's hard as a brick. Sleeping on a carpeted floor is actually more comfortable and softer than sleeping on that mattress. And I'm someone who prefers softer mattresses to begin with. Since this mattress has been delivered, I've bought a 4-inch foam mattress topper, paired it with a pillow mattress topper, and after a few weeks they just get broken down and my back still hurts and my arms and neck are still going numb.
I'm aware that they offer an exchange if you don't like your mattress after 30 days, but honestly I'm just sick of the drama at this point. If I do end up buying a new mattress â and after 3 months, it looks like I'm going to have to â I won't be getting it from Snooze Mattress. I honestly want to kick myself for even going with them in the first place.
And as a side note, NO ONE in the store was wearing a mask or practicing social distancing, if that's something...
Read moreAt a time when the world is weary, because of unwelcome changes and increasing instability, we found kindness and comfort at Snooze Mattress. Through our purchase, Snooze Mattress proved their worthiness of this compliment.
Our move from Empire CO to Pueblo West CO becomes a good example of our compliment for Snooze Mattress.
Empire is a wonderful small mountain town high up in the Rocky Mountains, very comfortable situated at 8,601 feet. Within our home we always felt the great beauty surrounding us, and a look out a window or time outside was a fortunate experience. However, health reasons of a family member forced our move to the lower flat land of Pueblo West CO.
Shortly after our move I called Snooze Mattress, and as I spoke with Ian I quickly noticed a similar beauty that we had left two and a half hours north of us. Though Ianâs knowledge and professional attributes are impressive, it was his genuine kindness, his simple spirit of heart that became the reason that I must go to Snooze Mattress. I was compelled to go meet this man, for similar reasons as when I first drove up to the famed Rocky Mountains.
Though I need a new mattress, we walked into to Snooze Mattress with the intention of purchasing only one mattress for my family member. However, after I learned about the gracious terms of financing, I purchased a mattress. And after we finalized our purchase, we also obtained the inspiration of kindness from Ian. Ian placed the order for our mattresses, and before we received our beds we went back to Snooze Mattress a few times. This enabled us to learn that the other employees at Snooze Mattress are also kind and gracious. And now that we have enjoyed our mattresses for a few weeks, I desire to go back to Snooze Mattress and for a moment step out of a stressed world into a store where we may feel as if...
Read moreYou know the expression, âif you snooze, you loseâ? Well, in my experience with snooze mattress, itâs more like, âif you snooze, you win!â To summarize everything, the dream mapping concept is great, but somehow didnât work for us. The salesperson, Dane, was so nice & not pushy at all. He let us choose without trying to push a certain mattress on us. We chose a Puffy mattress & after 2 weeks, my hubby (disabled vet) & myself (bad back problems) were waking up in pain every day. Turns out we got the softest mattress in the store, which our chiropractor said was not good for us (tip: if you have significant back problems, do your own research as well before you go in). Went back in (pun intended. Lol) & ended up ordering a very firm mattress that cost 3x the price as the Puffy. We ordered this on Labor Day (for the sale). The downfall was the wait time for delivery (about 4 weeks)âŠonly reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. It was a long, painful 2 months of being on the Puffy (but that is not Snoozeâs fault at all)! However, it was a glorious day when the new mattress arrived! We had the best nightâs sleep! To me this whole scenario is proof that Snoozeâs staff is not greedy or pushyâŠbecause of the fact that it was our choice to buy one of the cheapest mattresses in the storeâŠand then it was our choice to exchange it for an expensive one. But quite honestly, it was the best investment ever. I highly recommend this place & the staff! Honest, good-hearted people! They just want to see the customer happy! Also a bonus that they give you a lengthy trial period (so important) & a free...
