Shiver and Shake — Restaurant in Four Corners States

I went there today after being really excited finding them on an ad on Instagram. Unfortunately ended up being very disappointed. I ordered the cookie dough shake and the shake itself tasted very...off. The taste is hard to explain, but almost like mechanical? I had my husband try it to see if it was just me, and he said it reminded him of the lube he used to use on his machines when he worked at a frozen yogurt place. Maybe something was used on their mixers before making my order and the taste transferred to the shake. The toppings all tasted fine, the cookie dough, cookie, whipped cream, etc, but unfortunately I drank very little of the shake and had to throw it out. I also thought that they used only Blue Bell ice cream as I saw on their website menu but could clearly see the employees handling 2 containers of Signature Select (Safeway brand) vanilla ice cream. Maybe that's only for their scoops, I don't know, but for paying such a premium price for the shake, I was highly disappointed. This Was Our First Time Trying This Place In Any Form Had Always Wanted To Try When Was a Mobile Truck But Could Never Catch Up With It, This Place Was Very Clean, Great Staff, Uses Fresh Blue Bell Ice Cream, and Fresh Crushed Ice When Required, You Get a Mountain of An Milkshake With Every Order We Had The Oreo, And The Cheesecake Yes They Use Actual Oreo Cookies and An Actual Whole Slab of New York Style Cheesecake Respectively The Only Downside If Must Be One Is The Price Point Is a Bit High For The Average Consumer At A Median of $9 Per Shake But AGAIN YOU GET A MOUNTAINOUS PORTION Definitely Enough To Share, This Is Not Perhaps For An Everyday Treat But Definitely Perfect For A SPECIAL Occasion, or EXTRA Special Treat We Of Course Will Be Returning For The Clean, Fun, Welcoming Atmosphere and The Delicious Milkshakes Definitely Want To Return To Try The Shaved Ice Treats They Look Amazing If It Wasn't For My Lactose Intolerance and My Inability To Not Use Darn Near Every Napkin They Had at Once Would Gave Gi en a Higher Rating Definitely KICH...

My 1st time and my last one. I went there this past Sunday. I had read a little of the bio and how this place grew from a dream to a reality. I witnessed the young lady take my order and the next order as well while wearing blue gloves. I didn't want to bring any negative energy so I nicely ask her over to where it was just her and me, to let her know that I could've been from health service and that she should've really changed gloves when going from money to the ice-cream.
