Great place but it is VERY overwhelming from the noise. Beeps from doors opening and machines moving around, music is way too loud when you have to yell at the cashier in order to communicate, chatter between cashiers about things other than Big Bear business is not okay and the flickering lights makes it really challenging but the selection is pretty good and reasonable prices.
My greatest concern is not being organized. I saw 3 shoplifters enter, take items and leave the store. It's easy when there is no organization, no leadership or communication and all the distractions. This needs to stop.
I would like to suggest the people who work here please take some time and understand that generational gaps are important when addressing your customers! Things like I dont like are when I am addressed as hey you or hey lady! Instead Ma'am or Miss would be appropriate. Also, try to recall drinks that have been popular in say the 50's because that is something I would pay way more just to enjoy! Sure you wont know all the drinks but some of the more popular ones that could help me recall a memory! For the little gal who helped me I did apprecaite her humor about enjoying Sex On The Beach but as she drifted into a private moment of enjoying her time on the beach I was standing there wondering well now ow what do I do? Lol
Athough I've stated some negative things I want to bring a positive! The selection is pretty good and the prices as I said are reasonable! I hope my words are taken as encouragement and for lessons to be learned from rather than just a negative response. I think its nice to have a clean, well kept store but no matter who the husiness is there is always room to grow and...
Read moreI usually stop by here twice a month. The service is spectacular as is the selection. The price point is pretty consistent with most places. The beer cave is AWESOME, especially on a hot day. I reached for the normal brand of scotch off the shelf. The top of the canister came off and the entire bottle crashed to the floor breaking it. I felt absolutely horrible. The staff were first concerned for my safety. They were not upset with me and reassured me it was okay. I even offered to buy it and they told me it was okay. What service. I bought another bottle of the same scotch but still felt bad. ...
Read moreI will be honest. When they first came out to Pueblo west the help was rude and not any help at all. I went 3 times and vowed to never go back. Then something happened and a while after I went back. Now I go there all the time. Some of them need to learn. (Had to teach a few about Warstiener lager vs Dunkle.) Having worked in a liquor store I understand. But they are a good bunch, and management seems to understand who they need to hire. They will even lopl to see if they can get something...
