Yardbird Outdoor Furniture — Local services in Framingham

We visited the Framingham store to see in-person the set we were interested in from the website. The associate working was friendly and helpful, and the space very welcoming. We ultimately purchased the 7-piece Eden dining set for our outdoor patio. We love the way it looks and the chairs (and cushions) are very comfortable. There does seem to be a design issue that should be taken into account before purchasing. The table and chairs are not water-tight. So when it rains, water enters the seam where the slats meet the frame. When a chair is later moved to sit down, the water drains out of the holes at the bottom and onto your legs or the patio.

The design problem is that the drain holes on the underside of the slats "punched" (upward) rather than drilled, so water sits inside unable to drain until it is high enough to rise above the lip at the top of the hole. When you move the chair or tip it, water comes out of the drain holes onto your legs or the patio. This line may be perfect for indoor (e.g. screen porch) rooms, but perhaps not ideal for...

TL;DR - happy with the furniture; disappointed with customer service following the order

The support team (shout out Hal) at the showroom was very nice and helpful (albeit no pressure) during the decision process. Delivery of table/chair set, love seat, and arm chair was about a month from time of order. We are happy with the quality of the furniture and cushions.

At the time of order, we were not told of any delays, but the dining table cover did not come with the shipment and it has taken several attempts to find out that it is delayed with no clear indication of timeline to receive. All attempts for update have resulted from us reaching out and not Yardbird CS...

We were excited to visit the Framingham location this spring after seeing the Yardbird products online. The staff was very helpful, and it was great to see all of the sets and materials, which appear to be high quality materials and I expect to last many years. We purchased the Harriet set with fire table and have received many compliments. Delivery was quick and easy. The chairs are super comfortable and look great. We regularly use the fire table for drinks and snack, but easy to turn on and use with the fire on for chilly nights. The Sunbrella material and cushions are great and the covers are easy to place and remove. Highly recommend...
