I really love the food here, the location is fantastic, but the customer experience and operations of this location are so full of friction that I have progressively avoided going here. I like to shop at shoppers world and the surrounding area and if I wasn’t so fed up with the friction I encounter with picking up food from here, I’d order from here on average every three weeks. Unfortunately, based on my most recent experience I may never return. I’ve been here approximately 5 times. First time - bad experience with picking up my order but food was great. I waited a week. Second time, another bad experience picking up my order. Waited about 4 to 6 weeks. Third visit, another poor experience. Waiting a couple months. Fourth visit, had a bad experience, but manager or shift leader was super apologetic and helpful and reassured me they are trying to improve the experience. Several more months pass. Fifth time (this review), bad experience picking up food - and the shift leader/manager who I had talked to last time was quiet, head down on their phone and cleaning the breaking down the soda station. I was sadden to see the same person who had so much energy and in helping me with my previous order (4th visit) be completely checked out and unmotivated. Ive had some rough days at work but it was particularly sad to see how different this person appeared and presented themselves especially compared to how I first interacted with them. I then thought about what has to happen to someone who goes from what I remembered as a changing presence in the store to a shadow of defeat, and I questioned if that’s what working here does to someone. Halloween is around the corner but that may be the scariest thing I’ll see all year. I hope everything is okay with them. Cava, get a good leader with energy and a customer first mindset in your branches (or at least this one) and please make sure your...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Cava, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The menu is a delightful fusion of Mediterranean flavors, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that are evident in every bite. I particularly loved the variety of options available, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. The customizable bowls are a standout, allowing you to mix and match your favorite bases, proteins, and toppings to create a dish that’s uniquely yours.
The flavors are perfectly balanced, with bold spices and fresh herbs that elevate each dish. The falafel was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The harissa chicken was another highlight, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice.
The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed, and their recommendations were spot on.
Overall, Cava offers a refreshing and flavorful dining experience that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re looking for a quick, healthy meal or a place to sit down and savor every bite, Cava is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be returning soon! Shoutout to Isandro for helping me curate the perfect bowl !!! I will be back...
Read moreThis is a Chipotle style fast casual restaurant serving Mediterranean food. I find the food immensely better than Chipotle with fresher ingredients and a great variety of flavors. I like their healthy greens and grains options, especially arugula and black lentils. Only the grilled chicken, falafel and roasted veggies for the mains are the base price. I like both the grilled chicken and falafel though and get that most of the time. It can get pricey if you upgrade a protein though and can end up costing the same as a sit down restaurant. I’ve tried the lamb meatballs which had a great flavor, they were a tad dry though but it was fine when eaten with all the sauce. Note: you can split the main protein and get 2 if you want.
Their dips and spreads are fantastic with the roasted eggplant and harissa being my top 2. I also like their sauces, especially the garlic dressing.
Can confirm with some other reviewers on the quality of the service. I have gone once when it wasn’t busy and was fine. The 2nd time it was very busy and saw them get multiple orders wrong, throw out someone's bowl thinking it was an extra only to realize later it was not and then have to remake it. So the line moved very slowly. Their training and amount of staff could be improved. 5 stars for the food, but 3 stars for service which I hope they...
