My current smartphone is the Apple iPhone X which I’ve happily owned for over 3 years. For the past year, my phone has had a notification informing me that my battery needs to be replaced. The initial charge used to last from 4a or 5a until about 10p or 11p before I’d have to charge it, again, but now it generally needs to be charged around 4p. I’ve been going back and forth with whether to upgrade to the iPhone 13 or wait for the 14 to be released.

Back in the day, the iPhone X was considered the flagship phone for Apple, so it was built to a higher standard. Of course, it’s specs aren’t quite as impressive as today’s newer phones, but it certainly does more than a good enough job with everything I need it to do for both personal and professional use. It just needed a new battery. In the past, I’d heard that you’d be better off with just upgrading to a new phone rather than replace the battery, but at over $1k for some of today’s phones that’s more than I want to pay for a phone right now, especially if my current phone is still in great condition and operates quite well.

We Fix helped me an IPhone 11 Pro which was not able to turn on nor did the power button work properly. Apple wanted $500 for the repair so I thought I would give We Fix a shot. Boy was I happy with the result! At first, they were not sure if there would be anything they could do in order to get the phone functioning again, and recommended trading the phone in to Apple. However, they did not stop trying different solutions and an hour later called after charging the phone via wireless charger.
