LC Nails - Royston Bi-Lo — Local services in Franklin Springs

Today I got a full set of acrylic nails. Seeing as it is a Wednesday, they were slow and only had 3 ladies working, but They sat my friend and I quickly, which seemed promising. Once I showed the woman a picture of the nails I was inspired by, she got to work. Once she began she told me that the final cost would be $60. (Which doesn't match the price their facebook says.) I thought this was an overcharge considering I just wanted acrylic nails painted black, with one simple design on two of the nails. But since this was my first time getting acrylic nails, I thought that maybe it was an average price. Unfortunately though, I was not super happy with the woman who did my nails. She was rough when it came to the electric filer and the regular nail file. It's several hours later now, and the tips of all of my fingers still hurt. They are red and agitated, and you can see where a couple of them bled a little. I wasn't going to complain about the price considering my nails look great, but once she hurt my hands, I was upset that I was going to pay so much. She also told me to be careful with them because they are a little thin, which is frustrating considering how much I paid. My friend got a pedicure and the woman who did hers seemed careless and her legs were left sticky afterwards. I won't be going back here. I just had a manicure and pedicure done about 45 minutes ago. They were not busy when I arrived. The nail technician didn't add an type of bubble or salts to the water for soaking my feet. She didnt cut my toenails evenly. Also I had to ask her to cute some of the cuticle area on my toes. In my opinion that is part of getting the pedicure I should not have had to ask at all. Then when she was almost done with the pedicure another customer came in who also wanted a pedicure. During the process of the nail Technician finishing my pedicure I decided I wanted a simple manicure as well. I didn't want any polish. Just a manicure consisting of soaking my hands, cutting my nails, cutting and removing of excess cuticle. What I got was a very hurry and rushed version of that. My nails didn't get soaked and my cuticles were not cute at all. My nails are so poorly filed at this point that I'm going to fix them myself. I believe that because another customer came in asking for a pedicure. The nail Technician felt as though she needed to hurry up and get me out off the way. So she could move on to the next person. I don't care what type of business you are in if you are already working with a paying customer you finish with that person then you go to the next one. It was horrible! I’ve never been too picky about my nails but I was getting my nails done for engagement photos so I was a little bit more attentive and had a photo of what I wanted. The first thing that happened was that she put one of my nails on really crooked and still did not manage to straighten it out, this wasn’t just an “oh it’s a little bit crooked but it’s not that noticeable”, it was more of a “this is basically sideways.” The second thing that happened was she put this vibrant baby pink acrylic on my nail when the picture obviously was neutral, so I had her fix that. Then the third thing that happened was that in the picture it showed a light amount of glitter sprinkled on the tip of the nails, and she proceeded to cover just about my entire nail in glitter, it looked horrible. So I had her file it off and I left without my nails finished with tears in my eyes, I know this sounds dramatic but these nails were important because of engagement photos.
