Update… Joy called and apologized (even though it wasn’t her fault) and assured me the issue would be addressed. Our sectional was delivered today and is beautiful. The guys delivering were courteous and professional. I appreciate the follow up on my concerns.

We enjoyed working with Joy and were told they have a fast production time so we should expect delivery in 4 weeks. We ordered on 3/10. I called on 4/2 to see if there were any updates on delivery because my husband and I were coordinating our move in to a new home. The snippy "customer service" person was not friendly at all and told me the system showed 4/18 as the day of completion. I called on 4/15 to see if there were any updates and the same person was a bit more rude in telling me there were no updates and on the 18th we would receive an email to schedule delivery. Well...today is the 18th and no email. My husband called and Marie denied ever saying anything about the 18th. The date has been pushed back to the 25th now. If we were simply told the correct timeline from the beginning or been told an honest and friendly answer during one of our calls, I would not be so frustrated. Two suggestions: 1. Give realistic and honest delivery times. 2. Assign customer service roles to those that actually enjoy speaking...

Chris and Lorraine at Bassett Cool Springs are just wonderful! The manager Chris honestly the best customer service person I've ever met and is just a pleasure to deal with. We have ordered quite a bit (a few different orders over the last year). It's easy to be pleased with a company when everything goes right, but it's usually when something goes wrong that its true colors show. I can definitely say Bassett and Spritz (some sort of relationship there, with Spritz doing the deliveries) got us taken care of when a couple of human errors happened. Fortunately, Bassett of Cool Springs provides reliable date estimates upfront, so it's no surprise if it takes a while between when you order and when you receive your items. As I understand it, most items are custom made after ordering. I wish Bassett was a bit faster on the manufacturing end, but it's definitely worth the wait for items that'll last for decades to come and getting to order them through people who are so great to deal with and take care of...

Cathy Meadows was skilled, knowledgeable, and patient beyond belief as she worked with us. I'm slow to make decisions (took me 4 visits to the store), but she never made me feel so. She remained helpful, patient, and encouraging. She was available without hovering. Now we can't wait for the delivery of our new custom made sofa and chair!
