My favorite grocery store in Franklin Indiana let me down tonight. This is my third attempt to be heard constructively. Customer appreciation goes a long way. I went through the full service line, and my cashier did not help load my groceries into my cart. Neither did she do it for the customer in front of me. Both of us are seniors. My cashier scurried through the checkout process leaving me rushed to answer the perks and debit questions while also loading my cart...SLOW DOWN SALLY!!! I stopped by the Customer Service counter to explain the situation, and I called to speak with management. All I got in return was the cashiers are not obligated to assist when baggers are between shifts or on break. I even pointed out the cashier, who was still standing there doing nothing but picking at her nails. I was told they would appreciate more understanding from their customers when baggers aren't available than complaining. Again, I commented that I was offering constructive criticism. I also commented that I shop that store 3 to 5 times a week and I don't have a history of complaining, but tonight things were way off. I just want a quality shopping experience at a quality store. If I wanted an Aldi experience, I would shop there. Franklin Indiana Meijer, you can...
Read moreIs a horrible Myers I will no longer be coming here anymore despite that I live across the street from it. I go in every single day to buy chicken strips and they no longer have teriyaki ones they only have spicy ones or non-plain ones and now I found that the tops are being taken off of those and put on top of normal chicken wings and drumsticks so make sure you look in the container to make sure that it’s actual strips or green onions that are diced that comes a little containers that they pre-dice up. There are horrible. Every single thing has a bunch of roots in it. It has the part that you should cut off like I’m not paying for that. It’s horrible. The area that has a chicken strips. All of it is on one day expiration or it’s already expired like I’m done with this Myers like this they don’t care there they they don’t make any attempt to remove expired products or take care of the different sections like it’s not great , I’m really sick of having to check every single date and going through 30 things of chicken strips only to find all the expired or they expire tomorrow. They just don’t understand why the general manager is not doing his job by paying attention to the lack of effort, and the lack of actual physical work by...
Read moreLove the fact that all of their clothing comes in sizes from 1 (extra small) all the way up to 2x and 3x (extra extra large) to make it easier to shop for multiple people together. Their produce and fruit selection is WONDERFUL and the deli is excellent as well. The store itself is a bit confusing with all of the split grocery aisles and insufficient signage but otherwise i was eventually able to find things. Price is much higher than the exact same items at Walmart so i tend to buy my veggies and fruits and exotic items along with clothing (only if it's on sale or clearance) here and then go to walmart for all of my other shopping because i don't see the point in paying 2 or 3 dollars more for an item i can get at walmart for less. And these are the EXACT SAME ITEMS i am talking about here.. example... box of potato flakes $1.99 at walmart , $3.14 at meijer. Box of mini muffins $1.89 at walmart, $2.99 at meijer. Loaf of white bread $1.49 at walmart, $2.19 at meijer. OJ $1.99 at walmart , $3.99 at meijer. Same brands, same sizes, same everything except price and that adds up to a lot of money saved when you add up the difference on 100 items that are priced that...
