Sweat Shop — Attraction in Franklin

Disappointing experience to say the least. I pre paid Amy $800+ for 6 months of classes and a health/nutrition coach. I started in August and it’s supposed to be up in February. I reached out in September letting her know that the program she provided was not working out for me. At this time I was only sending pictures of my food that she called a “journal”. There was no way of her to get the exact nutritional value of the food. I also wanted someone to hold me accountable, so weigh ins and even asked if she could take measurements so we could track progress. She ignored my question. I feel like I paid $800+ for her to do nothing for me. My friends and family could’ve done the same thing for free. We set up zoom calls to check in every week. During one of the calls, mental health got brought into the conversation and she asked me if I were having suicidal thoughts. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional, as someone who does struggle with mental health. She’s not equipped to handle the repercussions of asking those questions. She’s not a mental health professional and should not ask questions of those sorts unless she is trained on this topic. After everything, I asked if I could get my money back for the next 4 months as I had until February for the program to be over. At that point she told me there were no refunds and I could not get my money back. I had only completed 2 out of the 6 months before I realized this is not what I thought nor what I signed up for. There was no contract or waiver that I had signed. There was nothing stating I could not cancel or get money refunded. I’m very disappointed and saddened at how this entire experience went. I would not recommend anyone to ever give their business to Amy at The Sweat Shop...

I can’t say enough good things about the Sweat Shop. It’s fun, energetic and a great community for ALL! The Sweat Shop has given me so much more than just health and fitness. It has brought me new friends, support system and my life back! Amy, Bekah, Alena and J are AMAZING🤩 Every class is different and challenges you to continue to be better and stronger. I have lost 15lbs since I started in May. I have tried every single diet and workout there is out there. Nothing helped until i joined the Sweat Shop. I am happier, stronger, healthier and more confident. I also do the coaching program with Amy. I love the Healthie app(very user friendly). I have learned so much about nutrition. The workouts and coaching programs are what has made it possible for me to finally lose weight and get stronger.

I joined Sweat Shop in March of 2023, started with a dance class and added a box class than Pilates and I knew I need to join. I have been actively going since and am down 30 pounds, so many inches and am able to fit into clothes more comfortably!! This place is more than just a place to workout, it’s a community of women who support you and cheer you on in your season of life!!
