TIME FOR AN UPDATE: Our previous two visits to this location have been met with failure. On the first visit we did not receive our food... And we had our granddaughter age 4 with us... for over 1 hour. When we asked what the issue was we were told that the printer in the kitchen had a malfunctioned and there were certain tables affected, ours being one of them. The manager took off $10 for the delay from my ticket, and $2 off of every other ticket. On our second visit we came in and sat in the bar area. Yes, the place was busy...but not to the point of overflowing and there was no wait out front. We placed our order with the tall sever named Morgan, and after 40 minutes we had still not received our drinks or appetizer. When I approached her as she was coming out of the kitchen she kind of put her finger up and said one minute. We waited another 15 before she came back to us and said that there had been a malfunction with the printer at the bar and unfortunately our drink order was lost. Sound familiar?!?! She then proceeded to tell us that they had hired too many servers as she was not getting enough hours and then she was planning on leaving this store as soon as she found herself a new job. My having been a former manager in a restaurant this did not sit well with me. I approached one of the managers, told them what this server had told us, and about 10 minutes later the server comes to us and says " Well, I guess the manager is mad at me now because of what you said to her so I really don't care it's just a matter of whatever"... and walked away. I didn't call the manager back and let her know what she had said. Believe it or not the young lady still had her job that evening. When she came to collect from us I said you need to speak with your manager because she said the bill was taken care of and I informed her that we would not be back... Her response..." I don't care because I won't either." Needless to say she didn't get a tip.
There is a lack of supervision, a lack of management, and a lack of caring attitudes at this location. I would highly ADVISE AGAINST visiting this location UNTIL such a time as they can get all their "ducks in a row". The food is great... when you can get it.
-END OF UPDATE-
It's about time that we got a Buffalo Wild Wings in Franklin Indiana! We have been long-time customers of B-Dubs, and can only recall one instance a few years ago where we ever had an issue with anything. This time around store manager Randy, and server Reagan made us feel right at home in this location directly off of US 31 in front of the Meijer grocery store. As you can see the food looked ( and tasted) wonderful. The beer was ice cold and in the proper glasses, and the service by Reagan was impeccable. The only drawback of the entire night was that they were not showing the UFC fight because, as it was explained to me " this is opening weekend and they weren't showing it'.
I still give it 5 stars and look forward to going to this location more often. I will definitely ask for the same server. I'm sure there are other servers that are just as great. Awesome first impression, great overall impression. I would highly recommend...
Read moreOur party was traveling through the area for business. We knew when we arrived that it was only 40 minutes to close. In an effort to not be "those guys," we were prepared to order quickly, eat quickly, tip well, and flee out the door so the staff could leave at a decent hour. This did not occur. The host at the front was perfectly pleasant and happy to accommodate us. Our little crew considered this a good omen and that the wing gods had blessed our decision to attempt to be polite customers. This was also where all pleasantness of the experience ended. After being seated, we were relatively quickly asked what drinks we would like. Two in our party asked for mixed drinks. We thought it was a simple order. The bartender we had that night can't be trusted to mix a drink to save their life. The first mojito that came out had literally rotting mint in it. Black and brown slimed leaves that would disintegrate when we tried to pull them out. It was a dead give-away that the ingredients also hadn't been muddled. The follow-up mojito did nothing to salvage the situation; the beverage in question was a double shot of simple syrup without any rum in it. Kudos. We also were waiting between 8 and 10 minutes to put in our food order, despite being ready when the drinks were dropped off. The waitress had placed the drinks on the table and left before we could finish handing them out. We all waited patiently, with menus closed, for her to come by and take the order. The other 2 tables occupied were next to us, so I have no idea where she went or what she was doing. Once we were finally able to get the order placed, it was less than 20 minutes to close. We knew the wings and burgers shouldn't take more than 7 minutes to cook. So about 15 minutes for us to eat and we could barely squeak out the door? We could manage that. Lo and behold, 22 minutes later, our food comes waltzing out of the kitchen. We were baffled. At least the food order was entered correctly and we didn't need any corrections made. Our charity had run out. The bartender had used spoiled ingredients, the kitchen took 3x as long to get the food out the door as was necessary, and the waitress had been pretty stand-offish to us. We did not rush to finish our food at this point. I cannot recommend eating here in the evenings at this time. The daytime staff may be perfectly fine, and I suspect that in 3 or 4 weeks the night staff will all be replaced and a pleasant dining experience becomes possible. Until then, pick...

We arrived around 6, there were three hosts at the door and I immediately got a seat. Things were off to a good start. 15 minutes later someone was finally at the table to take my order. The order was for a total of 22 boneless wings (two six piece, a 10 piece), kids chicken dipper, and a couple sides of fries.
40 minutes later our food finally came out… well not all of it. The waitress did say that we would need to wait longer for a side order of fries because they had to make them fresh. This was also the first time we saw her since the order.
The food that we did have was room temperature at best. The Blazing seemed less spicy from the last time I have had it, but it has been a bit since I have had it so could be because of my evoking taste buds.
I cannot fully blame the wait staff though because there seemed to only be two people serving the restaurant on a Friday at dinner (one of which was the bartender). With two people serving and three hosts there seems to be mismanaged resources.
All in all one of the worst experiences I have had in a long while. Last but not least, too many Tabs even for a sports bar.
EDIT:
Upon some investigation apparently Bdubs was purchased back in 2017 by the Roark group, a private equity firm out of Atlanta. Private equity is NOTORIOUS for slash and burn tactics with companies they purchase. Cutting staff, processes, and the quality of goods.
I cannot fully blame the staff or management there now that I know this, but it is sad seeing the decline of this restaurant that I grew up with...
