I had visited this target w my fiancé this afternoon around 4 to 4:30pm today (8/22). Personally I live in Spring Hill and always go to my super target but my fiancé recently moved to Franklin so I went to see him today. We went to this location and we didn’t really know where a product was; neither one of us were really familiar w the store so we went into the store and my fiancé was going to ask an associate where a product was. Just so happen a worker was walking past with a stocking cart (Young man- probably early to mid 20s, 5’8 ish, short brown hair w a trimmed up brown beard), my fiancé went to ask him “Hey is it alright if I ask you a question about…” and the worker blatantly ignored him and gave us a mean look and kept walking. And I personally saw that he didn’t have airpods in or anything, opened eared, so I know he heard him. Like that’s not only extremely rude, but as a customer service associate previously myself, that doesn’t only make you look bad but it also makes the company look bad because the worker has terrible customer service. And I understand that if you’re having a bad day- you’re having a bad day. Everyone has bad days. But don’t take it to work with you. I personally love Target and I don’t know if it’s just a Franklin thing (no offense to people that live in Franklin) but I’ve never had any experience like that in ANY store where the worker just straight up ignores...

If you see the checkout/cashier employee, Oscar, working, definitely get in his line at checkout! I specifically got in his line because I saw that he was both the fastest at his job, and also appeared to be the most joyful with a smile and friendly greeting. Some of the other checkout hosts appeared to be slow and bored, but Oscar did not disappoint. He greeted the 2 customers in front of me in line with a friendly smile & greeting, scanned & bagged their items quickly, and got them on their way with a polite goodbye. The same was true with me - He seemed genuinely friendly & happy, and it just makes such a big difference to interact with an employee like that. He made me feel like a champ for bringing my own Target bag, and immediately scanned the code to give me my 5 cent discount (a step which a lot of the other cashiers forget about & I have to ask them to do it). I was able to quickly thank Oscar for his help & on my way, and again noticed that customers in other lines were still waiting on their cashiers to finish — Boy did I get in the right line! Oscar should train to other cashiers to do their job as friendly & efficiently...
Read moreTarget has decided to go down the path of the woke, anti family, anti decency coalition of America destroyers, so I will reconsider my choice to shop there now. It is a shame that great companies like Target feel compelled to succumb to the mob mentality of creating discord where there is none. The LGBTQ community is well represented, protected and accepted in this country like all the many MINORITY groups of citizens and rightly so. But when the need to polarize these groups and their ideaologies takes precedence against common norms and decency just to make a political agenda active, it is enough. It is a shame that a company built upon the loyalty of customers such as myself and my family, chooses to cater and pander to the shameful ideology of those who quite likely would rather loot, pillage and burn your stores as opposed to shopping there and supporting local community owners and locations. Shame...
