Gyros King 6 Franklin — Restaurant in Franklin

I have no clue how this place has a 4.9 on Google because our experience was terrible. It’s a fast-casual spot—no waiters, just one guy running the register and cooking—and he clearly did not want to be there. No basic politeness, just a rude attitude that made the whole visit uncomfortable.

We ordered a gyro plate and a chicken pita with fries, and the food was just as disappointing as the service. The gyro meat was flavorless, the chicken in the pita was bland, and the fries were mediocre at best. Also the tadziki sauce, which the guy slopped onto our meals had the consistency of ranch dressing which was strange. Absolutely nothing stood out in a good way.

Food was excellent. But I said I only wanted a sandwich and the guy tried to upsell me on a combo (side and drink). I told him I only wanted the sandwich. That confused me when asked if I wanted rice or salad... I asked like in the gyro? He said there are 3 options. Umm... Rice?

Then he asked if I wanted a drink... I said no. Even though it came with the combo it was becoming clear he tried to sell me on once I saw the total. When I said once again I only wanted the sandwich, he said "Well I asked what side you wanted". Very bizarre exchange.

I woulda definitely gone back based on the food - cooked perfectly, cold crisp veggies, and tzatziki was excellent. But with this service snag... I'm in less of a hurry to...

Five Stars – Absolutely Amazing!

Gyro King is hands-down one of the best restaurants around! The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The gyros are packed with tender, perfectly seasoned meat, the pita is warm and soft, and the tzatziki sauce is absolutely dreamy. Every bite feels homemade and full of love.

What really sets Gyro King apart, though, is the people. The employees are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They go out of their way to make you feel like family and ensure you have a great experience every time.

Generous portions, fair prices, and a warm atmosphere make this place a true gem. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again....
