DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Frazer Township

One of the worst Dicks I’ve ever been to. Don’t waste your time like I did if you’re looking for any sort of water sports section, they don’t have one. I was on my way to the river to paddle and realized my PFD was broken. Figured i could buy a new one at Dicks next to the river trail. WRONG. I asked the employee if they had PFD’s and they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I asked if they had life jackets and then they told me no. The funny thing is, this space is MASSIVE. Enormous. It just doesn’t have any real product to speak of in it. Unless you want shoes, Stanley cups, or golf stuff I guess. I forgot that oakmont and golf are king here. Fortunately i remembered that Dunhams existed and they had a pretty decent assortment of PFDs and other water sports equipment. Actually, now that i think about it, i don’t know why I didn’t just go to dunhams instead. Dunhams understands how to fill their space with sporting equipment of all types! I was trying to play your game, Ed Stack, there just wasn’t any product there i wanted...

Went in to buy 2 new bikes for my kids. An employee asked if we needed help after wed been in the bike section for 5-10 minutes. We were fine looking at the few different models on the floor, but my daughter saw one up on the shelf that she wanted to try out. I asked the employee if we could see the pink bike on the shelf. She said you can pay for it and pick it up tomorrow. I'm not buying a 20" bike my daughter didn't even sit on to see if she liked the grips and seat. I was told the "bike guy" wasn't there today and they couldn't sell any bikes without him doing something to them. Shouldn't the bikes be ready for sale once they hit the floor?? Why are you not going to sell a bike over the weekend? I understand policy and if that's they way it has to be fine, but the employee was very rude with her attitude and not...

This is one of my favorite sporting good stores and the reason is a gentleman named Bob that works in the Golf department. It is rare to receive such amazing service these days, and he truly is passionate and knowledgeable about his sport and it shows. The store is clean and organized. I love the selection of Walter Hagen golf apparel. The shirts are seriously classy, quality, and well priced. The staff at this location has always been helpful and available to answer questions or just check in on their customers. It's a huge store that is bursting with variety, but with a staff that makes it feel like a small local shop that you've been attending for years. Dick's Sporting Goods corporate office should take note of this...
