I bought my wedding lehenga from Frontier Heritage. I was having my wedding in India. Because of this they let us order the outfit from this shop and pick it up from a Frontier location in Delhi. The final outfit was beautiful and exactly how I wanted, however the process leading up to it was extremely difficult and stressful.
My wedding was in November of 2024 and I had bought my lehenga in early May 2024. The staff at the shop were very helpful and it was a great experience shopping and selecting the lehenga. They showed many options and let us try as many outfits as we needed. I ended up selecting a light green lehenga and added customizations to it. At that time the manager who works in the LA location was present.
When we bought the outfit the manager let us know that they will send a swatch of the skirt and dupattas to use by mid-June. This worked out as my husband was planning to go to India in end of August to finalize wedding stuff and buy his outfits and I thought it would be great for him to have these swatches to match colors with his outfits. By end of June I didn't hear anything from Frontier. I thought since there was still a lot of time I would wait for a bit before reaching out. I called the shop in early July. This started a series of unanswered calls and question and every time I asked about swatches they would tell me they will call back or that it'll come soon or that someone will reach out to me soon. This continued till middle of September. I was beyond frustrated at this point. My husband had already gone to India. And also they promised that the order would be ready by mid-October. So this is less than a month before the outfit was supposed to be completely ready. This communication had gotten so bad that I had to threaten to cancel my order (I had some back ups in my mind already). Only after that did the communication get better. They expedited the swatches and delivered them to my husband in India. When we got the swatches it only increased my concern. The colors looked off and the embroidery was done so haphazardly. But now I was only a couple weeks from when the outfit was supposed to be ready. I got on a call with the manager and he assured me that everything will be ready and will be exactly how I want it. I decided to just wait and see. My father was in India and the day the outfit was ready I asked him to go and make sure it looked good. From the pictures he sent it all looked fine. There were some minor adjustments that needed to be made from the blouse but apart from that it was perfect and I was eventually happy with the end results.
However, for the price that we are paying the communication is horrible. It is best not to promise on things that can't be delivered. Poor communication for something that is so important such as a wedding dress almost makes it not worth it to work...

This is quite possibly the most disingenuous, rude, incompetent, mismanaged, condescending, and intentionally negligent company Iâve ever come across.
My fiance and I decided to come to Frontier Heritage, and to its owner Tanmay and manager Saurabh, due to our familyâs connections that dates back to the 1970s in London England. Thinking we would be treated with some form of respect, Tanmay and Saurabh instead decided to waste 4 months of our time.
We were asked to pay in full ($8,000) after choosing wedding outfits, when the industry usually does 50% down with the final half due at completion post final fitting etc. This was our first mistake, as it would take a full 3 months to get even a swatch made of our eventual outfits.
Tanmay and Saurabh were told at time of purchase (August 2023) that my fiance would be traveling to India in November 2023 to do the rest of our wedding shopping (matching jewelry to wedding outfits, events etc). Swatches were not produced prior to the trip, causing severe issues, complications, stress and delays to the shopping process. Upon arrival to India, a swatch was provided to my fiance (shown below). The swatch was, at best, a terrible joke. Panels showing the correct colors, designs, embroidery were not provided.
Upon bringing these issues up today, and asking for a discount for our troubles, Tanmay and Saurabhâs scoffed and decided to refund us. Quite surprising that they were able to do this within a few minutes, as everything was always âdonât worry weâll provide [insert sketches, swatches, reassurances, pretty much anything we asked for] in two weeks!â
Not to worry Tanmay, Saurabh, and Frontier Heritage, we will get the job done somewhere else at not only a better price, but with some semblance of customer service and quality.
Good luck to your overpriced scam...
