I had a terrible experience at this location. I placed an over $500 phone order the day before a big hospital event that I was providing lunch for. I spoke the the employee and asked for the food to be ready at 11:45am the following day.
I arrived at 11:45am and asked about my order. I was told by one of the girls working the register that the order was being worked on. After 20 min had gone by I asked again regarding the status of my order and the same girl told me that it would be another 10 minutes and that they were busy filling multiple orders. I sat there waiting for the order watching 30 plus patrons enter and exit the store with their fulfilled orders. I asked the girl again how much longer and she told me that she doesn’t know and again there were a lot of other orders to fulfill. I told her that I should get a discount on my order and all she offered me in exchange was a free desert. I asked her if I placed the order the day prior why my order was not being processed before all the other orders and she just shrugged.
I sat and watched all of the orders being filled and picked up. The entire lunch crowd entered and exited the store and it wasn’t until it finally slowed to a trickle around 12:35 that I literally saw them begin to put my order together. As they were finally assembling the order I asked why they were just starting on my order now. Her response was that they didn’t wait, they had the salad and rice ready ( I saw them preparing this as well just before 12:30.) When I asked earlier how long it would take she could not tell me because they had not even started the order.
I had a meeting scheduled at 12pm that I was over an hour late to because I did not finally leave the store until 12:50pm, over an hour after the scheduled catering pickup time. The girl at the counter lied multiple times about the order and its status and because my card was charged already, took care of all of the incoming in-person and online orders until the crowd died down low enough to finally prepare my order. I told her that I would like to speak to the manager and she only provided me with the card sitting in front of the register. I asked her for her name which she refused to give me obviously knowing she was in the wrong on how the order and situation was being handled. The icing on the cake was that even after making me wait over an hour, I discovered upon getting to my destination that she did not even supply me with utensils for my order.
It has been about a month and have still received no response from a manager at the location to follow up on my...
Read moreI love this place and I frequent other stores in the bay area. Today was a bad review. Im on a no carb diet. I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate. It comes with fried or rice and a salad. I asked for no fries or rice and just add extra salad please. The girl behind the counter insisted on charging me an extra $2 for the extra salad even though Im not getting fries or rice. I questioned her and she got another guy over who also said it will be $2 extra and there is nothing they can do. I make this order at other stores in the bay area with 0 problems. Its only $2 but I refused to eat there over that and it may be the last time I go to this store. Im a frequent customer. I work in emergency services and I come in in uniform. Im not asking for a discount or anything free. Just a substitute for a little extra salad I stead of fries or rice. The two employees just stared at me until I said yes to the $2. No way. I walked out went someplace else to...
Read moreI use to have Greek or Mediterranean food a lot with my sister but I guess after I moved, I didn't realize I haven't had it in a while. Good thing Doordash suggested Nick the Greek when I was searching for dinner with my sister.
I love gyros and pitas, especially if they are covered in tzatziki sauce. I ordered a beef/lamb pita (A Seasoned beef and lamb mix, cooked on a vertical rotisserie, served on a warm pita bread filled with fries, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce) and I really enjoyed it. I don't like flat, thin pitas so their fluffy pita hit the spot, and they had an ample amount of tzatziki sauce to go with it! The meat was well seasoned, fries inside the pita were a little weird but I'm not complaining at all. It was a solid gyro/pita. We also shared the Greek fries (topped with Feta, Garlic & Green Onion). The fries were very well seasoned, much better than I expected and would also recommend if you like garlic, feta and...
