Uncooperative with customers, very unfriendly prices with sealed TCG products, and evidential behavior of scalping. That is a sincere summarization about my experience at this TCG shop. I went to this TCG shop more than four times already, in between 2024 and now, to either (A) hang-out and play games with friends or (B) looking to buy TCG singles. So I definitely gave them chances. Worth mentioning, now in 2025 Health Points TCG sell their sealed TCG products at market price. Inconsiderate customer service, I was hope to find and buy a singular copy of Hoothoot from the Pokemon TCG set Stellar Crown. The employee gave me a big four column storage cardboard box of Pokemon TCG bulks and told me, “Yeah sure, go ahead and take a look through this stash of bulk right here. That card you looking for might be in here but no promises. Once you find it, take that card and bring it to me so you can pay for it. Good luck!” then left me in the corner of the display counter with 0 further assistance of sorting through the bulks. Or another instance, again it is a "hope to find and buy", this time is two Yu-Gi-Oh! (YGO) cards from the latest set Quarter Century Stampede, which for context these two YGO cards are pocket change level of cheap. In platinum secret rares, Elder Entity Norden at market price is $0.35 and Number 16: Shock Master at market price is $0.64. The employee who was talking to me about the YGO cards said, “My boss told me that we are going to hold on to these platinum secret rare cards from this set, because they’ll rise in price later on in the card market. For now we can’t sell them to you bro.” Flabbergasted, I ask him, “Can I please buy the platinum secret rare cards of: Elder Entity Norden and Number 16: Shock Master from Quarter Century Stampede, please?” The male employee replied to me, “We can’t sell them to you bro.” I was quieted, bewildered, disgusted, and I left the shop without saying another word. If only I can leave this review with a negative star. This TCG...
Read moreRecently started to go to Health Points to buy some Pokemon cards. The place is clean and overall fun to be at. Probably one of my biggest complaint would be that I tend to only go at night which sometimes are their tournament night. I am not a big fan of being around a lot of people, worse is when they are just chilling around the cards section blocking the viewing walk way. Of course that's not the stores fault and more of customers. Anywho, at first I was iffy on going to these places because I have read customer service etc can be iffy but in my case I have had an amazing experience with Gage who works at the front. He always treated me with respect and always thoroughly help me out for whatever I need. Whether it was asking him about card's knowledge or if they have certain cards in the back etc, Gage was always willing to use as much time needed to help me out. Overall it's been an amazing experience over here at HP and I hope it...
