Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Fresno

About last week I decided to go get my usual order of chicken Katsu plate and after digging in, I found a small fly in my Mac salad. This ruined my appetite before this I never saw a fly in my food, but this was disgusting and I knew it wasn’t from my house or anything this fly was literally mixed in the Mac salad embedded in the creaminess of the Mac salad. As if when plating it they left the to go box open and a fly got into it between the layer of Mac salad or wherever they stored the Mac salad it had to have been contaminated. I didn’t call that day even though I had the receipt because I drove 6-8 miles to go order in drive thru and I didn’t want a meal replacement from this location, if I would have gotten refunded if they even believed me I would have wasted gas to go drive back there and it would be pointless. I visited this location today for lunch and went through the drive through. The nice cashier said it would be a little bit of a wait for the Khalua pork but since there was nobody behind me she said I could wait there. My car had been having some problems being on so I turned it off while waiting. I went to turn it back on when I got the food and it died on me. The battery went out I didn’t have anything on btw while waiting. The cashier lady assured me it was ok and sent 3 nice young men out to push me out of the driveway, not only did they get me to safety, they got one of their cars and jumper cables and got my vehicle going. I was 75% done with my plate and was about to take another bite into some of the veggies when I saw a DEAD BUG/FLEA/FLY (it had wings) stuck to the piece I was about to eat. Completely lost my appetite. I went to the front to show them. The shift manager offered no apologies and wanted to replace the dish. I told her I'm not interested in eating it anymore so she offered a refund but spoke to her coworker in Spanish and they both proceeded to laugh at my plate.

I definitely did not appreciate their lack of service and rudeness AND their lack of concern over the pest in my food. I wrote on the merchant copy of the refund that the reason was: bug. She made me keep that copy and kept my copy instead. Not...
