My kids and I have always come to this place when it comes to Asian food. Some times other Asian store don't carry the items or produce we need for special Asian occasion or American occassion.
My kids and I are born and raised here in America, so yes we are American citizen and at every holiday Asian or USA we buy stuff and bring it home to cook and have friends and family over to enjoy with us, the dinner or meal I cook is always Asian hybrid meal because I always have American dishes too.
In the past we used to received good customer service from a Chinese lady and two Hmong ladies. I know this, for I can speak three language. Which is Chinese, Hmong, English.
But as of today the customer service was super bad. The worst I can ever get. Today my kids and I went in to buy items to get ready for next week which everyone know it is Thanksgiving. And yes Asian/Chinese people don't celebrate Thanksgiving. But to me and my kids we are born here so we celebrate both cultures.
During the moon festival the customer service was great. But today it was bad. The lady that was scanning the items whisper in Chinese to the lady bagging the items that my two boys are so fat because of all the item that I am buying are too sweet and seems like most of the ingredients I got are for dessert. I must feed this to my two boys daily no wonder why they are so fat.
I just wanted to speak back in Chinese to them two. Yes my two boys are fat and chucky, but no lady I don't feed them this kinds of food daily. All the supplies I am getting here right now, today are for Thanksgiving dinner. Watch what you are saying because your own people can understand you. Learn manners as Asian or go back home and get teach proper Asian manner again like a true Asian kid so that you can have better retail/customer service.
Glad my daughter was putting some item back so she missed out on the rude customer service . But guess they think I can't speak Chinese and can't understand them or something.
Too bad for them now. I can order stuff online or go to support other Asian store. Never coming back to this store ever again. I am keeping my cool not to write any swear words in here, for I am not going to lower my standard down to as low life as they are.
Giving one star only, because of the past customer service was nice. If I can I would of gave half a star only.
我知道你们在说什么。 你们真没礼貌。 你们的父母没教你们吧?(I know what you two had talked about. You two are really rude. You two don't have manners. Your parents must have not taught you two any manners.)
Cashier who was scanning my items name is on the recipient. Her name is Gin Hen. Didn't get the lady bagging the item, but she is always standing behind the counter where all the Asian medicine and all the bottle of wine and...
Read moreThis place is open until 8PM, or so it says.. We've been inside the store before closing and an employee told us, "Take your time. Even if we close the doors at 8, we still let customers shop until 8:30." At that time, we were not planning to stay after as we were getting ready to check out, but it was nice of him to inform us. We've always gone there even after 7:15-7:40pm for quick item grabs, but tonight was not the case. There were two gentlemen sitting right outside and as soon as I got out of the car, they shouted that they are closed. When I questioned them what time do they close because the map says 8PM, they replied, "After 7:15-7:20pm no one can enter." I shared my experiences that we've been inside before after those times, so what has changed. They said, "Umm, it has always been like this." I suggested they update their hours on Google maps so it is not an inconvenience. Their response was, "That's the Big Boss choice." My guess is that this is not the first time someone else has also experienced this, based on reading the reviews. I'm disappointed. Support small local businesses who will go by their operation hours and could possibly be struggling because of the pandemic. SF just proved that they will operate whenever they want without considerations of their customers. It's a shame since I've been supporting them since they've opened here in town as a loyal customer. So I wanted to share with the rest of my community. Overall, if you're going to shop here still, call before you drive over to if it's around 6 -7pm..that's also if they will pick...
Read moreI bought 4 boxes of frozen shrimp last Sunday. Today I opened the shrimp and the color changed and I checked again the product is out of date. I took pictures. I went to the SF super market to show them and I wanted to talk to the market manager. and I went to pick up a product just like I bought it that Sunday. while waiting for the manager to arrive. it is still for sale at the freezer counter. When a woman came I thought it was the manager and asked me what happened and I let her know. she asked me if I still had a bill. I have lost my bill. She said she couldn't help me because I lost it. I know that. But I don't want my money back, I tell them their product is out of date. they do not test the product before selling it to the consumer. The product is not of sufficient quality and standard ... she said I was going to change the box. I say no. Your product is not of sufficient quality I do not get. And she said you didn't have the bill. I won't pay you back. oh really ????? I said it out loud to everyone ...... and they paid me back on the credit card. and no one ever apologized to the consumer. The problem is not for the money. The main problem here is that their products are not of sufficient quality and standard to be sold to consumers. inadequate marketing and consumer service qualifications. I will call the Food Safety and Hygiene Department and check you guys ... everyone should check the expiry date when buying any product here. all is...
