I kept passing this place and finally had some time to sit and eat. I came around 12:15-12:30 on a Saturday. The place was practically empty except for a table finishing up. It's a beautiful space but my first thought was looks kinda bleak. But I'm not there to entertain and stare at everything. It could use more brightening up. The entry way is beautiful with drapes and all but the dining area felt very spaced out and almost banquet style, however if you are familiar with the area it used to be an all you can eat buffet years prior. I'm sure they plan on doing more with the space. I suggest some smaller tables off on the side for those eating alone such as myself. This is a beautiful space for events though, large parties, family dinner etc. I ordered the Karahi chicken medium spice with a side of basmanti rice and tandoori roti. Fabulous. I'm pretty basic when it comes to Indian food butter chicken, rice, side of yellow dal and roti. This was a great selection suggested by staff. It is pretty basic flavors onion, tomatoes, peppers and some spices and herbs. Very good, medium spice was a tad more than I expected but it was still so delicious. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfect. And the roti was very tasty. The food was very fresh and I'd say this would be perfect for two people I took left overs. I can't wait to come back with friends and try more dishes. Staff was very nice and quick. I definitely recommend coming here, especially if you are needing to accommodate large parties. Thank you for the great...
Read moreI’m only writing this review because I want this restaurant to do better and be successful. This is my second time ordering to go. The first time was great and timely. Food was great. I only get the same food in any Indian place. Butter Chicken, Basmati rice, and Garlic Naan. However, today’s experience was not great at all. I ordered the same order, the girl told me 15-20 mins. So I came in 20 mins later. Paid for my food and then she said “Sorry 2 more minutes”. So I said ok no problem. Then another 25 minutes later the food was still not ready. Granted she did apologize again and the other girl thank me for my patience. But not everyone will be as nice and cool as me. So listen up Tandori Grill, here is my suggestion if this ever happens again. Own up to your mistake and be honest with the customer. For example: if the order was skipped or for whatever reason was lost. Let the customer know what happened, then apologize. Either offer a full refund and apologize or you can apologize then offer to give them a discount or gift card of some sort to compensate for their time if they choose to wait. This shows that you value their business and time. Saying “thank you for being patience” will only get you so far. You gotta prove by your actions that you really care about your customers and patrons. I do hope that you guys practice this simple but...
Read moreThis is our first time eating here and we thought that it was a very spacious and clean restaurant! We ordered to go but next time we will definitely dine in since the place is bright and the people are very kind. While waiting, we sat in chairs that were provided and they even offered us refreshing ice cold water to us. It was very hot outside and we were grateful that there were very considerate and provided us lots of hospitality. When we left the store, the staff were very friendly and it felt very family-oriented, which is something that my family and I take value in.
Now onto the main course, we ordered several dishes but I need to give a special highlight on their chicken tikka masala because it was the best I've ever tasted! The sauce was savory buttery smooth and creamy with all the right hints of spice, saltiness, tartness, and sweetness. I found that some places I've eaten at before tend to taste a bit too tart from the tomatoes, but this place has the right amount of balance! Next time we will definitely order this dish again and try out the many variety of dishes that they offer. We highly recommend...
