I visited 3 Oaks Studio for the first time because my friend recommended this place to buy Annie Sloan Paint. I walked in the doors about 4:40 PM (store closes at 5) and wasn't greeted with a very welcoming hello. It was more of a look like "oh she cant be in the right store" type of look. Anywho I said the place was beautiful and asked if I could look around because the worker was still looking at me as if I was in the wrong place.
Feeling uncomfortable, I finally just asked if I can buy a can a paint (so I can get out of there) and she looked at me again, surprised and almost appalled that I would ask to buy paint that I've never used before. She then proceeded to say under her breath i havent had any customers in hours and you walk in just before closing. I said I'm sorry, I couldn't come earlier because I was working. Long story short, she was very snooty and hesitant to help me right from the start....but I bought my paint and brushes anyway (it's not the paints fault) and went on my merry way....definitely a Pretty Woman Julia Robert's moment, but on a brighter note, I...
Read moreBeen shopping here since the 90's, one of my favorite centers. Had a bad experience with center owner, I stopped in to drop a package of at the UPS Store which is great, when I was done, I got my puppy out of the car to get some fresh air and the owner of the center charges over at me and tells me to leave and dogs are not allowed! I thought he was joking, but asked him to show me signage that says this, he said don't get smart or I'll call the sheriff. I asked again, why are no dogs allowed and why do I see dogs here all the time. He flipped open his flip phone and pretended to call the sheriff. He drove off and I waited around for 15 minutes to 'get arrested', but they never came. I was amazed at how rude he was, maybe he was having a bad morning, but I really tried to figure out what his reasoning was to kick me out of the shopping center because I had a...
Read moreLast night was not the best. Wanted The High Sierra Tritip sandwich. Walked in about 6:15p. Waited for a while to be seated by someone from the kitchen. Told us to choose, anywhere, brought menus for lunch express service, minimal dinner menu, Happy hour menu? and left. We waited over 20 minutes, no one interested in stopping at our table. Manager was the bartender, we noticed 1 waitress running around, a man with red tennis shoes always going behind the bar. Yes it's Holiday season, we gave it a chance. Then went to Red Robin. Very satisfied with the choice and their menu. Not a Tritip sandwich but they have juicy flavorful Hamburgers with an...
