DO NOT BUY A DRESS FROM THIS STORE! I just picked up my bridal gown today to realize that my veil was missing. The assistant tried to give me the one off the rack and I informed her that it was not the right veil. So she went back again to look and came back with the right one which was all wrinkled. She then tried to shove it in a bag as if it was okay. I as if she could steam it and she said not a problem. I Then thought i should check my dress and of course it was all wrinkled so I asked Debbie the manager if they could steam it again and she said yes. I then told Debbie that I would like to express my concern on how the business was manage. Before I Could express myself, Debbie was YELLING at me telling me that I was "an abusive person" and that they have bent over backwards for me and that if i wanted something done all i needed to do was ask nicely. She continued to tell me that there was something wrong with me and "good luck with your wedding because if you are like this then you are never going to be happy". I then reinstated that i just wanted to express my concern i a very calm and quit diemener. She continued to yell at me and not let me speak. She YELLED at me for some time and when i got the turn to speak i simply expressed that I had concerns about the management of the business. She would never listen to me. Debbie verbally abused and harassed me. At one point i was afraid that she was going to become violent and physically hurt me. Allison brought my dress back and tried to mediate the situation. I asked her if she thought it was appropriate the way i was being treated and she said she was sorry but there was nothing else she could do. I then asked Debbie if she thought i was treated the right way and she said " no your right you should not have been treated this way and i should not have yelled that was not right." Not once did she apologize. I paid for my alterations and left crying. In the down stairs foyer i called my mother for help on the situation. As I stood there crying other customers came down and hugged me and said" that it was not me and that i did nothing wrong and that they had heard stories of this store" I then asked the security guard for a glass of water and property management. I spoke with sonja who could not do much but confirmed that this was a common problem with Mia Bella. Sonja advised me to go public with my complaint and they way in which i was treated and advised me to go to small claims. I am simply writing this review because no bride to be should ever be made to feel this and should never walk out of a bridal store with their dress crying. Read moreI ordered a dress online from this store and quickly called them to make sure it I would get it on time for my event since it was only a week and a half away. I was assured over the phone that it only took two days to get it from CA to me. I waited but did not receive any sort of communication with tracking information. I emailed multiple times and received no response. I eventually was able to communicate with someone over their chat who told me that they were waiting to receive the item at their store so they could the overnight it to me. This was never communicated before then, I had specifically asked them if they had it in stock and they said they did. They stated that they would make sure that it would be sent express overnight. I expressed concern over the timing as this was my first time ordering this brand and expected at least some alterations. I finally received confirmation that they shipped it, but they shipped it ground. I was supposed to receive it on a Friday, but this would get it to on Saturday before 9pm. As soon as I saw that, I reached out again. I was very professional but they were horrible. I know that they had just printed the label so they could have easily changed it but decided not to. My event was on a Tuesday and most places are closed on Sundays for alterations. I asked why they sent the shipment ground when they had committed to sending it overnight express. They gas lighted me and told me literally that “there are worst things.” I told them I would put a dispute with my credit card since they could not guarantee it would get to me on time. They don’t accept returns for this brand. I called my credit card and they recommended starting the dispute. I finally received the dress which indeed needed many alterations. I would never do business with this Company again and do not recommend them. They lack professionalism and fail to communicate with their clients. They are unreliable and arrogant. I dropped the dispute but was literally threatened with legal action. I told them that I stick to my word and would make sure to alert future and current customers of their poor customer service so as you can see, I’ve followed through.
Update based in owner's response: -I called on Thursday when I ordered the dress and was told it would take 2 days for it to arrive. No communication at all about having to order the dress from Jovani -I reached out by email and phone to no avail when the dress did not arrive and had bo response -I finally was able to communicate through their chat and was told the dress would be sent overnight

i normally would never be bothered to write reviews but this was something else. I placed an online order for an exclusive LaDivine by Cinderella Divine on 4/09/24. This dress was sold out virtually anywhere else i looked…so i was extremely excited when i saw it AVAILABLE on the Mia Bella the Label site. I went and placed an order with the UPS 3 Day Select shipping option even though i had around 26 days until my wear date.
I called them the first time on 4/12/24 (3 days later) asking for an update on my order since i only received a confirmation email and no tracking information whatsoever (i never received tracking information through out the whole experience) and wanted to understand why my dress didn’t ship out after 3 days considering i paid more than 30 dollars for express 3 day shipping. they told me the dress hadn’t even arrived at the store yet and it was on backorder. all good. still lots of time until my wear date.
called again 4/16/24 (a week after ordering) to ask about tracking and understanding what’s the status with my dress. same thing. “we don’t have the dress in yet” and that they won’t have my dress until towards the end of the month. they also said they were expecting the dress to arrive earlier than expected therefore ship out to me earlier. no big deal, with express shipping i should be fine.
finally annoyed and confused i called AGAIN 4/22/24, almost 2 weeks after purchasing so called dress. good news! i was told my dress was out for delivery and would be arriving by that wednesday. i was also told i would receive a tracking number via email- and never did. wednesday, thursday, friday goes by no dress no update. called friday, the woman who answered told me my dress had NOT in fact been shipped out or rather even arrived to their location. She said she wasn’t sure who told me the incorrect information but that my dress wouldn’t reach their location until 4/29/24 or 4/30…. ??? at that point i went ahead and cancelled my order. 17 days after ordering my dress and only a week before my wear date i’m left with no dress. customer service was awful. the people we spoke too were kind, but the whole situation felt scam like.
we did get a cancellation email (which was the only email they actually sent out in a timely manner) and received the refund.
even after looking through reviews, the team at Mia Bella responds extremely rudely to their complaints and even constructive criticism. not the best way to run your business with integrity. lashing out at negative comments makes the business look extremely hostile and childish.
