I'm a newer customer...just a few months now. I order from here 3 maybe 4 times a week! Why you may ask? You see this is homemade honest no BS food. The salads are one of my go to's. Exceptional (more cucumbers and tomatoes please!)...fresh, crispy and filling. Broccoli, pasta and macaroni salad very good. Those little pies. I try not to look at them when I walk in, as soon as I pull they start calling my name! And of course the Beerocks, perfect for the drive home! But you know I eat out per se 7 days a week, never even used my stove! There're are many places in town for me to purchase great eats...Why here? The counter ladies, the chefs all have a very welcoming attitude. Having in the past being in the restaurant biz for 25 years myself with multiple locations this overall positive attitude is rare to cultivate. They have a very good process in place that leads to quality, consistency and speed. One observation I will share is that the pricing is not where it should be, a 20% increase over the next 18 months is what needs to happen. Ok maybe two observations! Change is good...remember it's 2025 not 1978. Anytime you want to talk...
Read moreMy adorable Mother-in-Law brings home food from The Berrock Shop just about every other week, so I'm very familiar with the food, especially the pot pies 🥧 (which are screaming btw), but i had never actually visited the restaurant in person. I finally did, last week, and it was a good experience. I guess i probably expected to see more German or Russian representation (or wherever the berrock originated), but it seems like a regular, normal american restaurant with kind, helpful people working and absolutely delicious food! I ordered the western burger 🍔 and just the patty by itself felt over a lb. The bun was the best part, it was "homemade" (just like their pot pies' crust) and was fluffily scrumptious. The fries 🍟 were okay, but then again, I'd probably like them better if i could still eat salt (my diet won't allow it), but i ate most of them without ketchup, which only can happen with GOOD fries. All in all, yes it's great, yes it's definitely worth the cheap prices they have, and yes i will be returning soon to try out the pulled pork or tritip...

We bought Berrocks here a couple of times and - not gonna lie - I was underwhelmed with them, but maybe that's because I'm not accustomed to them.
BUT, one day I was taking to a gal in the shopping center who was headed there for lunch and happened to mention that I I tried their berrocks and wasn't a fan. She informed that they serve a lot of other food besides berrocks and she offered high praise to the sanwiches or burgers, or whatever it was she was headed there to dine on.
So.... I recently decided to drop in and try out their burger and fries.
INSTANT LOVE AFFAIR!!!
This is my new favorite burger stop. Can't believe I've lived down the street from this place for 35+ years and just discovered their burgers and fries. Their other offerrings look good as well, so I'll be trying their chicken pot pies soon. I anticipate frequent visits in the future.
No pics at this time but I can assure there will some forthcoming...
