I’ve been a regular at this Starbucks for over a year, stopping in almost daily. While I’ve had a few not so great experiences in the past, today’s visit really topped them all. I watched the barista make my drink; she steamed the milk, poured it into the cup, pressed the button for the espresso shot, and then walked away to start another order. A minute later, she came back, added caramel drizzle, put the lid on.
I walked up, grab my coffee and took a sip, I could immediately tell something was off. I politely mentioned that I thought the espresso might have been forgotten. Before I could finish explaining, another employee jumped in and cut me off, saying, “We put the espresso in first and that’s why you can’t taste it.”
Let’s be clear, I watched the drink being made. The way they spoke to me felt dismissive, like I didn’t have a valid concern or was just trying to complain. I wasn’t rude or demanding; I simply pointed out something was off. I’ve been drinking the same order for over 15 years, so I know what it should taste like. Instead of taking a moment to listen or remake it, they brushed me off without a second thought.
It was disheartening to be treated like my experience didn’t matter. The lack of professionalism, dismissive attitude from the staff was disappointing. After this, I don’t plan to return to...
Read moreThe worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life was at this Starbuck in Fridley MN, 5300 block. I walked in , excited because I love Starbucks. I Ordered for pumpkin spice, the young lady asked hot or ice? I SAID ICE. But I noticed she never asked for my name. She let me used the rest room by giving me the code. Very nice I said. I even gave a good tip. After waiting I noticed my ordered was taking for ever, I walked up and asked same girl at the counter. I said you did not asked my name, is this mind? The lady making the drinks said no, yours coming soon. I was asked again hot or ice, I said ice again for the second time. She brought me the hot one. I said if this is mind, I never asked for hot. I said your have to pay attentions. They same distracted . She said oh , so sorry I will make you a cool one. The made one with whipped cream on the top. Really? Did i ever mentioned whipped cream? Asking myself and shaking my head. I said listen this is not my ordered. They argue that it is. I was tired waiting over 15 minutes? I couldn't stayed any longer, I left the drink and my money with them. Did not even have the time for reform. I said take my money, I am leaving, without any remorse, they like thank you, like I am the problem. They lack customer service experience. They need some...
Read moreI have never been so livid about my experience at any establishment. Today I walked in to get two drinks, a very berry refresher and a caramel frappuccino. I looked around and saw that their is people waiting to get their drinks. When I arrived there was 3 people working. A cashier and two baristas. I placed my order which came to $9.86, with in a few mins I got my first drink which was a very berry. As I continue to see people walking out with their drinks my second was know where. After about 15 min I went to the cashier that took my order and questioned about my second drink, I mentioned that I had a Caramel frappuccino venti she turns around and says she has a Grande ready. I did not pay for a grande, I paid for a venti and that's the drink I want. I am beyond livid because she didn't apologize for the wait and she didn't acknowledge that I had been waiting over 15 min to get two drinks. I frequent the Starbucks at st Anthony village which are amazing and have never had any problems prior. As I watched them, they are very short handed. They need help. I hope this reaches the correct person and to take action. Although I had this experience I will not stop coming to your establishments. I will not come to this one, but I will continue to go to your St Anthony...
