I’ve had some bad haircuts, but it’s never been this bad to where I go take the time to do this. Anthony was very rude and would interrupt me to tell me he can’t help me without hearing what I had to say. He also suggested and told me this haircut isn’t for me. Straight up almost walked away (twice actually) but I decided to give him a chance. The last lady here that cut my hair did such a good job and was so nice. That’s why I decided to return. (That’s why I gave it an extra star) He seemed nice at first. I’ve been getting the same haircut for years and everyone at least works with me to get a variation of what I want without being so rude. Even if it’s not 100% what I wanted it always looks good and have a decent experience with good service. He got mad when I said I didn’t want to wash my hair cause it will help him cut it and proceeded to ask me questions no one has ever asked and stuff about hair I don’t know about because I don’t cut hair, all because I didn’t want to wash it, no one has needed to wash my hair to cut it properly. I had just washed my hair the night before so it wasn’t dirty mind you. Also he had a Cowboys star in his work space and doesn’t even watch football!!! Nah I’m just being picky. But seriously, I tipped $1, I couldn’t bring myself to not tip but that’s the lowest I’ve ever given someone in all my years and this was the worst experience. He seems nice but he was very rude and do not recommend getting a haircut by him. That’s not how you treat...

I went into sports clips thinking that this will be the only time that I will go. My son Hunter always goes there for a haircut so I thought why not try it. I didn’t expect much because it’s a large chain. I usually go to a barber that charges me $10-$15 more than sports clips. I happen to get Ali. I will tell you this about Ali. He has a valued asset to your company. I had some good fellowship along with noticing that he takes his profession very serious. He had all types of different clippers and tools that shows that he wants to make sure he delivers a great haircut and he had the tools to do it! When I left, I called my son and I said that I had a guy that I really liked named Ali. My son immediately said “that’s my guy. I checked in online and my wait was 15 minutes. I got to the salon and my wait was 35 minutes. Okay no problem. After I had already waited for 15 minutes, a new customer walked in and claimed "I tried to request X stylist online but I guess it didn't work" and one of the employees moved her up ahead of me. This happened despite the fact that I was checked-in first, and waiting in the store before she ever arrived. My wait got bumped to 55 minutes. So apparently the check-ins and wait times are meaningless and my time is not valuable.

The appropriate way to handle this situation would be to tell the new customer, "I'm sorry, but another customer has already checked in and has been waiting for that stylist, but you'll be next in line after him."

It's a shame, because I really like my stylist, but I will never visit this...
